Why does she have to skip a game, yet Kitana and Sonya get to be in every game? If anyone should get a break it's those two, along with Jax, Kung Lao and Kano.

I dunno man, maybe because NRS didn't want to put her in the game?

Or if you want a canonical explanation, D'Vorah ate her face and Kronika was like "woah nah, I need to bring back strong warriors from the past, not this lame ass".

Take your pick.

Baraka died too. Jade is dead. Kitana, Lui...etc are as well... Oh well MK11 is dead to me. Bring on Injustice 3.

Very disappointed. Don't think they need to waste a DLC spot on her. That spot could be used for other characters. Milleena is a character I just don't care for at all.

I feel like Mileena should be in the main Roster, Kitana and her are like the equivalent of Scorpion and Sub-Zero when it comes to popularity, I think Mileena as a DLC is unlikely since they gave Kitana some Mileena's moves. Mileena is my favorite female character but I'll be alright if she doesn't make it and the truth is I wasn't even planning on playing her unless NRS redesigned her playstyle.

Always preferred Mileena to Kitana. Seeing Ktana use Mileena's moves just pissed me off. So no MK11 for me, its cool I can wait for 12.

Now with that being said, I better get Blue Beetle back for Injustice 3, or else I'll be even more salty

I think we need to all remember that MK3 was missing almost all of the ninja’s, and then Ultimate brought them in, which was basically DLC of old. If you bought vanilla MK3 on PS1, you had to buy the game again for the ninjas. And then you had to buy the game again as Trilogy for Johnny Cage and Raiden, so really putting base characters behind a paywall is nothing new. If she shows up as DLC I’ll be happy.

wow, bro, don't be such radical person .... Mileena is my preferred MK character ever, love her to passion, but, MK has a lot of other interesting characters, and a rich story lore , so, even with my favorite out of MK11, I just pre-ordered both Steam and PS4 versions, and will and plan to play the game to death ! :p

the fact that she (Mileena) is not in the game, don't devalue or depreciate the ultra high quality MK11 will have as a game .... this game will be the best MK ever, and , everyone can find one or more characters to play and have fun ! :D

seriously, it's stupid just skip over MK11 just on account one character did not made it into the main roster ..... the game seems incredible, amazing and a true fan will support it, no matter what ! ;)

the roster will have more or less 30+ characters, so, if your favorite is not there, is not time to try another one ? to discover and find out if exists other MK character that can end being cool to play to ? :)

Ill take her as dlc but im kind of over it at this point. I can wait until MK12 for her if I have to. Im still not cool with Kitana having her shit though.

No Mileena is a huge con against buying it and I don't really like the designs for some of the characters, especially the new ones. Also Dvorah being included and Kitana stealing more moves is another con against MK11.

Noob Saibot though is a huge plus in the games favor.

And yes I'll admit I'm salty that Kitana and Sonya get to be in every game, while Mileena has to rotate in and out with Jade every game, despite being the most popular MK female... Oh well...

I feel you, I don't like the idea that Mileena isn't in either.
However, some of your assertions need correction.
  1. Rotate every game? This is the first game since MKVDC (where both Kitana and Sonya were playable but not Mileena or Jade) that Mileena sits one out. Much like MKX was the other game that Jade wasn't playable. They were both in umk3 and they were both in the 3D Era's later games.
  2. Kitana is by far the most popular MK Female of all time. Look up the polls. I don't like it either, I wish Jade was, but facts are facts.
By all means, don't buy the game if you don't want to. I didn't buy Injustice 1, I didn't miss much.
I had other games to play, I'm sure you'll find something you like.

You have every right to not buy it.

The only reason I was even remotely pissed about Mileena not being in is because this game looks absolutely incredible. No way I could begin to think about missing out on this game. There's so many dope characters to choose from and while I've mained Mileena since Mk9, I can't wait to get my hands on Frost, Shao Kahn, and Sub-Zero.

Seems like a recent trend to switch out Mileena and Jade in every game. Both were in MK9 while Jade wasn't in MKX and now Mileena isn't in MK11. Mark my words, Jade won't be in MK12 while Mileena likely will. Of course Kitana and Sonya will return just because...

And I have taken a look at recent polls. Whenever Mileena and Kitana are pit against each other, the former typically beats the latter.
