WTF?!?! Kitana is so ugly and without charisma in this video.... No No No !!! I want Kitana like MK9 or MKX...

Definitely Jade will be my favorite of this 11th opus

Looks like she retains her powerful corner game from the bast two MK games.

Her first competitive loadout doesnt look to bad, and she still has good zoning and pressure tools, while having the Projectile absorption and Flutter as defensive tools

That d1 though.

I'm real happy about Kitana, she looks stunning. And I was concerned about her VA but she nailed it (Please tell me if her VA is Grey DeLisle for those that recognize her)

Wish they learned their lesson about Mournful Kitana in MKX, though. Other than that, she is perfect for me.

Thank you!!! Idk why they always do this to her... like no NRS, thank you so much but we don’t want your lame character moves for Kitana, who is a great character by herself and could have way better moves

The one Tournament Variation they showed today looks quite good, and gives her a ton of tools.

Flutter is great for mind games, and is a good defensive option

Ground Butt Slam is a good combo ender

her Projectile Absorption move that gives her a dmg buff to her fans is a good defensive option, that also forces the opponent into an uncomfortable situation if they get punished by a fan based attack

Plus with uplift and her throw fans, along with a good combo ending KB, It looks pretty good, and is the one most Kitana people will probs go to for ranked gameplay, unless her second variation is straight up better.

Overall, I like what they've done.

Not a huge fan of the Mileena elements, but if it ties in with the story i can let that slide.

Don't like the teleporting on the throat slice, or the tanya-esque dive. She's done it in the past, but they could've toned it down a little. Leave it to the more mystical characters.

Also the fans being held, and open, even while she's being pummelled looks a little odd. Would've been nice if they disappeared/dropped then she conjures them when she gets up.

Still going to be my main though!

And really cool that the moves that were in the trailer are actual moves from the game.

I need to see more of her normals/strings and what is truly special-cancelable. Was very concerned when they said she was less martial artsy in this one. She's an assassin-princess not a tea and crumpets princess. But her actual moves looked just fine so I need to see all of them as they obviously left out alot to show Cetrion a second time. Should have just been Kitana/D'Vorah if they weren't gonna show Frost. And the Mileena variant... why? Why is Kitana always 2/3 of her own character? Imagine if they gave Kung Lao's Hat to Liu Kang! Have one slot switch his fireball/flying kick for hat toss/dive kick, one for Lao's Teleport, and another for the hat spin. Kitana is perfect on her own... no need to combine her with Jade/Mileena/anyone else.

Mileena is still going to be DLC. Kitana took one move she actually uses from her (the teleport drop kick) and the other two are entirely new.

Between what was included in Mileena’s Ravenous and Ethereal variations, there is a ton they can do to improve and expand upon her move set. Kitana using a sai in three moves doesn’t completely disqualify her from being a character in the game......and the leaks have proven to be very true up until this point.

man, would love to believe that, and I even posted something like that some hours ago, but, knowing more or less NRS agenda and past schedule, they are just fucking lazy regarding this .... so, at this point, Mileena , IMO, is just an out of picture, out of pocket question ..... she is out, and ok, let's go, carry on , move on, and enjoy the game .... there are lots of other MK charaters that I like so, gonna invest time and dedication on them. :rolleyes:

would love to see Sindel or Sareena making into the game, replacing Mileena , but, cannot trust this too, so, very curious about who will be the others 5 DLCs ! :D

You seem to be forgetting about the cross pollination between Sonya/Cassie/Johnny. Same moves, slightly different, still fun and interesting. Sonya and Cassie both have drones. Kitana and Mileena can both have sais.
