Except that there are two different rap songs in the trailer, Check Yourself from 1993 and Blue Suede from 2014 - pretty obvious theme of old vs. new, both fit and both are very good.

Hating on modern rap (though its obviously not all good, like anything) has become the new cool thing to hate. People always say how much better 'old school' rap is, and I always wonder how much old-ish rap they actually listen to...

theres some old old school rap that i can still listen too and there is some that is too old school for me lol. but honestly the rap music now a days is lacking and i find myself going back to the 90s and early 2000s to get my fix. i still like jayz lil wayne drake kanye(i know i know) j cole to name a few.

Oh old school rap is probably my favorite 'version' of rap, but there's plenty of good modern rap as well, and I find that the people who make the complaint that old rap is better ironically don't really listen to it, or 'old school' for them is literally jayz or eminem.

The golden age for me was kicked off by ATCQ, Pete Rock/CL Smooth, Eric B and Rakim, basically all the guys that laid the roots for modern sampling.

It's certainly not a bad thing and her looks, clothes and choice of weapons were always inspired by various Asian cultures.

It's bad because they're inconsistent and illogical with her design, since her parents are already established as Caucasian characters. I don't mind if they make her and her parents middle Eastern/Mediterranean since it wouldn't be that big of a change as this one(changing race).
