Jax and Kitana revealed in MK11

It is. You can tell by the lighting and the blurred background. Fatalities turn the arena dark

I think they're summoning Sonya, Jax, Kitana, Liu Kang (I'm not sure tho) and Kano from MK3/UMK3.
Kung Lao from MK2.
Scorpion and Sub-Zero from MK1 (they're on the Nethership)

Not sure about past Raiden. He looks closer to MK2 Raiden.

Someone else said, and I agree, that there are (at least) two separate instances of characters being summoned. Raiden/Liu/Lao/Kitana/Jade at the Koliseum, and Johnny/Sonya/Jax at the SF base. The characters who side with Kronika might have been summoned at a separate third time. Maybe even individually.

Each summoning seems to be from a different time.

It is highly unlikely that we've seen past-timeline Kuai Liang at any point in any trailer, because this Subz looks identical to the one who helps Hanzo fight Tekunin.

Just saying but it would be cool as hell if Kronica didn't bring back past Kitana but instead brought back past Mileena who was posing as Kitana & thats why Mileena is hidden until you finish the story....not saying its happening or anything just that it would be cool.

If Old Man Jax is on Kronika's side, it makes me wonder if he might be some how related to Geras, in some sort of Wibbly-Wobbly Timey-Wimey way. Now, I don't think that Geras is Jax, but like what if the Geras golem model line has Jax as a sort of template?

I totally agree.

I love how Kano looks so much in this new game that idk how I'd feel if it were any different than it is right now. It's literally my favorite character design I've ever seen in a fighting game, ever.

It's one thing making things better like they've done from MKX to MK11, but it's an entirely other thing just changing something that isn't broken.

It'll be like what happened when Terrence Howard got randomly switched out for Don Cheadle between IM1 and IM2. Except for half of the cast instead of for just one person. Lol.

Keeping the same voice actors will be more important than ever. I'm so glad they've kept Liu Kang's voice actor the same from MK9 to MKX to MK11, if for no other reason than to finally payoff the Raiden/Liu rivalry.

I have a feeling past Kitana's going to meet Revenant Kitana and assume it's Mileena or something. Just for the reference and the lulz and to hurt me.

There was a mention somewhere that they changed it to normal red in more recent builds because the blue looked less impactful when he got fatalitied etc.

They changed it a while ago, I think the blood became red when Cassie was revealed. I don't know why they changed it, I liked the light blue blood, it fitted well with the android/synthetic nature of the character.

My personal guess is that Kronika is playable and her blood is already light blue, so they changed Geras' to not make the light blue blood gimmick too redundant.
