BREAKING: Erron Black (and others) supposedly Leaked on Reddit

'ello baby, did you miss me?
And why should NRS do that if they already have fully-developed badass cyborgs existing in the lore that are lovable by fans and could be further exloperd?
Because developing two completely different sets of animations for two nearly identical characters doesn't sound very fun, and neither does creating 10+ different cyborg skins that are somehow not just recolors of one another, and that's before we even get to the gear.

I think there are ways to achieve that. In MKX it would have been very easy to give each variation unique dialogue. In MK11 it's a bit trickier since variations are mix-and-match, but they could tie it to intros. Like, you pick the Sektor intro, you get the Sektor dialogue. You pick the Cyrax intro, you get the Cyrax dialogue.
Pretty sure there was variation specific dialogue. I know there were costume and stage specific ones.

Nearly identical? Well, can't disagree more. They are two (three if we count Cyber Smoke) different characters with developed backstory and motives. What's stopping NRS from re-designing Cyrax, to be less robotic and more Deadly Alliance alt costume-like? And what's stopping them to give Sektor slight or great redesing? They have completely different moveset and abilities. Lore-wise I don't think I even need to explain. If you are only paying attention on gameplay aspect and ignoring the lore then it's still not entirely true. Because even gameplay-wise they could be created as characters that are totally different from each other.
I, as a hardcore MK fan since early 90s, pay attention more on the lore, less for the gameplay. MK for me, is more than just button mashing and strings learning. It's entire universe I enjoy exploring. Therefore Triborg is not a fan-service for me. It's a cheap move to please casuals.

I can’t wait to see what they’ve done with these 2 characters.
Both looking like snacks!!

I hope Erron gets his grenades back, but instead of rolling on the ground that he throws them in an arc and the return of slide for counter zoning.

It would be nice if he went more burst damage and less on the 50/50's. I started playing Erron in X and I really enjoy playing Gunslinger.

I understand where you're coming from my dude, but if your priority is the lore, then you should also appreciate that the lore might not be taking Cyrax to a place where he needs a redesign. Maybe the lore needs Cyrax and Sektor to stay un-redesigned, nearly-identical versions of one another.

But I'm not going to try to tell you that you shouldn't want to see your favorite characters get as much unique content as possible. Of course you should. I don't think that's the best use of NRS resources, but at the end of the day that won't be for me to decide.

Writers said the character wasn't even canon (could end up being, but the idea was that he wasn't). I hope they don't erase Sektor and Cyrax future chances of development for the tri-toaster.
Given that Cyrax's development after 3 was that he got turned into a Special Forces Rep who was played like a sap by Nitara, I think I'll keep the tri-toaster.

I'll miss Sektor but Triborg closely resembles his post automation personality anyway...Cold, Smug, Detached from Emotion he even speaks similar to him.

Are you a boy or girl?
I mean, I think its pretty fishy that the story is spanning time lines and we are def getting a classic feel in this game; yet no cyborgs at all. Also Human Smoke is one of the few revenants missing along with Sindel, Nightwolf, and Stryker.

Im gonna guess these are our NPCs this game, or at the least story cameos. Triborg seems pretty unlikely to me, I think Frost is Cyber Subs archtype now, Cyrax and Sektor could be a noob/smoke style DLC or story cameos like Sektor being dismantled on a table in MKX, and honestly if Smoke is DLC or a story cameo or ANYTHING we have to assume its revenant/human smoke due to story.

Doesnt look good for cyber fans, IMO, which is lame. MK9 human cyrax is one of my favorite chars of all time.

Same, Sektor is my favorite of the cyber ninjas, followed by cyrax.
I feel like we should get new cyborgs to come in with sektor since he started the cyborg clan.
Both sektor & cyrax we're totally different from the other ninjas. Smoke & Sub-Zero can stay human.
