Meh. I can't even open that since i don't have FB profile but are you taking FB comments seriously and proof that "in general she is disliked"?? Lmao

And what if i told you that her render on official MK Twitter has more likes and retweets than Kabal for example? And Kabal's was posted few hours earlier.

Just stop.

Many, many MK fans love D'Vorah.
Some ppl hate her because of her appearance but even they agree that she is one of the coolest MK characters.

And then there are Mileena and Baraka stans...

Well now I want to main Jacqui just to harvest all of those salty tears. Just a few points to make:
  1. This is just a render from the waist up. You can’t tell shit about what kind of character she is.
  2. Has everyone forgotten this game has multiple skins and customization? This isn’t her only look.
  3. Calling her boring before we see any gameplay footage is a bold choice. As a tech-based character, her move set could literally be almost anything. Hell, they could make her play like a Zangief super-strength grappler and have it make complete sense.
But I guess haters gonna hate.

Youtube comments, Twitter comments, everything but here. There were more people commenting on that post than there are actively using the forum. The fan base for this series is massive and we are a minority. MOST MK fans don’t like D’Vorah, and that was my point.

Also, you can ignore the context, but it had that much attention because it was a reveal, unlike the Kabal render, who we already knew was in.

Cool. I hope she has some interesting tech or gadgets or something. Or the charge gauntlets from her High Tech variation in MKX. Full Auto was a bit boring, so hopefully she has more to offer than just wrist machine guns.

She looks great from the neck up, but I was hoping for a bit more from the outfit.

I'd hope she has better alts, but honestly I didn't play her in MKX and doubt I will in this game, her archetype wasn't my jam.

In my experience she seems generally well liked across the fandom. At any rate, it's silly to cherry pick social media sites like that to try to measure something like popularity

When it’s where a majority of fan base(casuals) are, it’s a better metric than most other sources.

Even the online character usage data, D’vorah was never that high up.

You realize that there are hate comments online for every MK character right?

For example Jacqui is one of the most hated characters ever. D'Vorah is not even close to that. Can you start making sense please? What are you trying to prove in Jacqui reveal thread? Why did you bring D'Vorah and went off topic for no reason at all?

D’vorah is actually much more hated than her, because she committed the “sin” of killing two classic fan favorites. And it’s brought up whenever she is mentioned outside of the echo chamber of these MK forums.

Jacqui, more than anything, has disinterest.

And i don't have problem with that... at all. That's who D'Vorah is as a character and like i said you love her or you hate her. She made impact! She did that in MKX! She is D'Vorah!
Vile, sinister and iconic after just one game.

Jacqui is just... there.
