Outside of the echo chamber of these forums and reddit people hate her just as much. Go to any social media post about D’Vorah since her reveal and look at what the true majority fan base and player base feels about her.

U remember mk3 era? all the freaking earthrealm guys were very different from each other. now they are all the same. jacqui same as sonya same as johnny same as cassie and so on. they are like DARRIUS and KOBRA or JAREK from mk3d era. we meed KOmoletely different chars like drahmin, nitara, havik... erc etc. this mk11 earthrealm game is KOMOLETELY BORING AND no unique character between humans. jacqui is a wasted slot. they ALL just could be replaced by only 1 chars which is striker. thats all.

Very bland and uninteresting design. Her MKX one was better and that says a lot. Nothing interesting in her gameplay footage so far, same generic gun battle high tech nonsense. Of which we already have two btw.

MKX Jacqui just didn't have any business rolling with that group, but now that she has the suit she can join the adult table.

Sonya doesn’t and never has used magic.

Her energy rings come from those high tech wrist band things she has on her forearms, you can even see them in this game if you watch any footage of her customization.

She actually has less going for her than Jacqui in that regard, as the latter has high powered weaponry on her gauntlets.

When talking about keeping up with that group, a person with metal fists that shoot shotgun shells or machine gun fire, or literal explosives missiles, I think she fairs fine.

I don't mean to get too off topic here but, people generally don't like D'Vorah? Man to me she was far and away the best thing about MKX. I made her my main the second I saw her reveal in 2015 or whenever it was. She's a goddamn bug woman, fuck all these humans, game needed more species diversity and D'Vorah was perfect for that.

Plus she's not utterly predictable unlike every member of the Kombat Kids.

Ok sorry about that, I just love D'Vorah.
