Not everyone could deal with it. Lol! After MKD, I know a few people who didn't play MKA due to the same types and bugs and glitches that were in MKD. I was one of them. Regardless, my love for the 3d era games and characters is still up there.

The ones who kept playing the game dealt with it. A lot of the nakedness you see posting in this thread did, we played until the very end, most of us played series to 100 lol

Yeah, I played Easy. I remember him more for his Ermac, but yeah, his Hotaru was top notch. I think I actually played him in MK9 in it's early days, but that was the last time I interacted with him.

I remember seeing those vid archives before I found MKO. I think one archive was Konqrr's and another was that guy, je83's.

Anyway, I was such a beginner and vids at that time were super rare. So those archives were a big help to see how characters could work.

I specifically remember seeing some player doing work with Hotaru, which wasn't a character on my radar yet. Made me pick him up and then Hotaru became one of my favorite all-time MK characters.

Hotaru/Havik in MK11 is something I hope for, though I doubt it.

I forget who the really good Hotaru's were... all I remember about Hotaru were 3-hit combos and a single kick (very slow) that did about 20% damage.

Since I was on Xbox, I remember eazy, alexie having monster Hotaru's. And that guy CRKfiend had an insane Shujinko, I think he played on both if memory serves.
