That's curious, why? Surely the alternative to Kitana having a Jade variation wasn't Jade being playable, but Jade not being in the game as a character OR as gameplay. And at that point, even if you can't bring yourself to play this "facsimile," surely it doesn't hurt you that someone else can?

I believe to remember that NRS stated they wouldn't have non-playable NPCs in the game (like Rain and Frost in MKX). So I'm not sure how likely NPC DLCs will be in MK11, like it was the case for Tanya in MKX.

And there is no way in hell they make Kronika a non-playable NPC (boss + boss fight) and then later on sell her as DLC. That would piss so many people off and rightfully so:
"Oh, so you make that character the final boss, create her move set and center pretty much the whole game around her shenanigans and then sell that clearly thought-through and finished character as DLC? You're gonna pay for that, Boon."

If we go by troll logic though, they wouldn't be non-playable NPCs if there were already plans to make them DLC.

And, I don't think for one second that they'd make Kronika DLC. She's either going to be playable in the base game or not at all.

Correct - though it depends on when you received the information. If these 'leaks' were from well before the Steam achievements were leaked, I'd say you had a reasonable case. If they date from after, then it's bullshit, and someone has just looked at the KOL, CET and TER tags and come up with something.

However, if you were told about a character called the Kollector 3-6 months ago and since then we've had a KOL tag leaked, I'd say your source was solid. Likewise for a Greek mythology-inspired character called Cet...n something.

You seem to have not read the second part of that sentence lol. My point was not even I fully believe the leaks, I was just sharing what I have heard. They can be discussed without being taken as gospel or believed, which is a point I've stressed since the very beginning of talking about them.

Weirdly enough, I actually read the full post.

As I say, it depends on when you received the info. If your sources only went into detail on these characters after the Steam achievements leak, I'd be inclined to dismiss them as bullshit.

Kollector was hinted about prior to the leak. Everything else's (person A and B) are post steam leak.

At least it's a good sign that person B backed person A on CET, I guess. Even IF person A got the info from the gamefaq thread, it's possible that the guy who posted on there actually knows something :D I'd kinda like this part to be true, sounds like an interesting character design.

I'm curious why and how they would rework frost though, if that part is true. They used her in the old form in the comics and MKX story, so I thought they had plans for her in the original form.

Yeah, can't be sure about the rumors but some kind of mermaid character, like a female beastly aquaman, sounds cool.

Did you love anything about MK11 bruh? You are always crying. you should stop that for your sake.. what kind of hint did you expect. Something like; !! heyy look up the skies and see our empress who is wearing blue and using fans !! be relax.. it is just a hint.. also it could be Sindel hint, no one knows yet..

it is another possibility but a female character reveal on the horizon and he knows that and he using it for trolling us at least..

The gameplay looks interesting and I love the customization / variety for each character - custom specials and intros seem like an interesting addition. I also like the increased number of stages this time around.

The roster, however, is looking like a weak point (this is subjective, I realize) so I'm curious to see how it pans out, and how many of these leaks/rumours turn out to be true.

I think NRS make awesome games to an extremely high standard, and from a gameplay perspective I really don't have any complaints. I also enjoy their story modes (pretty much unique in terms of fighting games) and love unlocking everything - the Krypt sounds like it's going to be epic this time around.

I just wish they were less conservative with their rosters. They need to take more risks and add more variety, and stop treating rosters like MK 1-2 plus a few from 3 and then just one or two reps from the entire 3D era. I completely understand why they do it, I just wish they'd stop.

Regarding the image itself, it'll be interesting to see if either Reptile or Ermac are in MK11 - usually you'd assume at least one of them would be, but with the number of slots we have left I'm not so sure... but then again you'd think we'd have at least four ninjas on the base roster, so hopefully it is Subby, Scorp, Rain + Noob after all? Fingers crossed...

Seems like they are much more focused on female ninjas now.. Skarlet, Jade, Frost, Kitana (if the latest leak is true of course) We'll get more male ninjas i am sure about it but i am not sure who will be.. ahh Ermac, it is a very sad discussion to me cos he is my all time favoruite and i have lost my all hopes about his reveal.. seems like Reptile and Ermac already deconfimed, i am taking Subby's red and green skins as a hint.. i don't want to be dissappointed.
