This is just low-key bitching, haha. But I'm right there with you. Rule 63 Sub-Zero is lazy character design. Ideally, this is an opportunity for NRS to unshackle her from that stigma.

ok lets start the kol/ter/cet speculation

kol = kollector, we know it. if some people get their desired ash williams dlc, we have mass effect complete.

ter = i see 3 options here: terminator, teryaki and ter stegen. but i think teryaki is the most likely for obvious reasons.

cet = either "et cetera" (an earthrealm jobber) or Central European Time, which would fit well into the time travel thing. i guess both are equal likely.

I'm not sure if I wanted this leak to be true. The lack of Havik, Reiko and other 3D era chars plus no robots make me somehow sad. I mean I know there would be 8 more MK chars by way of DLC (apart from guests) but I wanted to see them in the initial roster.

Doubt it. There weren't any DLC cheevos for either MKX or Injustice 2 until their complete editions.

If Jade is revealed at the next kombat kast (or a female starting with Ter, Kol, or Cet) then this leak could gain more weight. But, if Mileena or Sindel is revealed then I call all of this bullshit.

I have no problems with any of the characters on this list. I thought the MKX characters all deserved a second chance, so I'm actually okay with Jacqui and the others being back. I want more 3D characters, and while I do think Frost is an odd pick over Sareena, Fujin, Havik, etc, overall I think she's an okay pick.

My main problem with the roster is that Shang Tsung isn't on it (yet), and some characters that should be in since others are, are well, not here? Like Cassie and Jacqui is in but not Takeda? No Takeda OR Kenshi? Even if Takeda is a surprise character, then that means 3 of the kombat kids are back so why not Kung Jin?

Also if Sonya and Johnny are in and we are still getting Cassie, then where's Jax? He's been in almost every MK game since MK2 so it would be weird that he's left out, especially since MK11 seems to take some inspiration from MK2.

Overall I think the roster is good and I prefer it over MKX's launch roster, but it's certainly a weird line-up right now... Maybe there's one or two more characters not of the list yet that will tie everything together, maybe some of the new characters will explain why others are not here, and maybe the Kombat Pack will have some that couldn't make it in day one.

Speculation is nice but I want to let you know that QLoc has a history with trolling PC data miners so take this with a grain of salt.

In Inj2 before the last DLC pack was revealed the put some trolling character files and called them Shaggy, Talon, and a couple more that I forgot. After examination it turned out they just copied files from Bane and Robin and some more and gave them those trolly names.

I'm actually kinda happy about Jacqui being in. I don't want the Kombat Kids to go to waste considering they'll stick around whether we like it or not. Would much rather they make her cool this time. If she makes it and still sucks I'll be pissed.

Also, I haven't counted, but it's probably a good idea to look at all the confirmed/likely-ish female characters because this game probably won't have more than six or seven, looking at NRS's other rosters.

It must be a really sad day for NRS. They should really start preparing their marketing campaigns with best and worst case scenarios. Leaks are almost inevitable these days.

Leaks do make my waiting easier and somewhat funnier. I'm still excited for the game and its secrets. The new modes, the mystery celebrities, the new stages and so many other things. The roster is important but it's not everything.

NRS should be happy for us. We're still waiting for the real reveals, right? All we have is names. We know nothing about the new design and gameplay changes of all these characters. I'm hype AF!
