If you think no one was complaining about kid buu, you arent paying attention. Or you already forgot about the time you got mad because i said he was kinda busted.

If gohan cant cancel legs into jLL, kid buu shouldnt be able to cancel hos ball into chained overheads.
1) I never got mad. Infact its you who seem to be mad and your rants about how char a, b, c etc are broke and "shouldnt" have one or other thing in the game lol. Plan to quote me on being mad. I dare you :)) And yes aside from you I cant remember anyone else complaining about KB.

2) Literally comparing Gohan jailing stuff into KBs overhead chain lul. Block high, he cant cancel his mid-overhead chain into low without literally falling down mid-string to show that he goes for the low. Not to mention you could reflect anything that isnt overhead chain.

Only complain I kept hearing was about his unscaled dmg from candy beam - and that actually was a bug that now gets fixed. Totally fine change without any unreasonable nerfs.

Everybody knew that this would be patched, pretty much common sence coz it was a bug. K.Buu basicly is untouched and Im fine with it
Common sense is not that common nowadays ;)

Also...He still was touched....

HIS PEARL FLASH is getting modified. That's his air super combo. We're not sure if that will get buffed or nerfed a bit.

pretty good patch in my oppionion

happy with the light approach on nerfs instead of getting smashed with the hammer

im very excited to see gow hard vegeta assist was hit

also wondering if there is somethong hidden about the super dash tracking bs

do wish they upped defence options but i feel they'll try yo hold that off as long as they can and add it as a new mechanic in a future expansion

the salt is real tho, people alrrady crying and havent even been able to test new patch yet, lol

this is tym tho, so babalities should be expected i guess

If the Vegeta nerf hits Nappa hard (not convinced it will), then he might be dead. Only time will tell.

The 2nd hit of j2H has barely ever wiffed in my experience, not entirely sure this will help much. Other than that, 2 minor scaling changes. Unclear if nerf/buff, but they’d have to be extremely positive to outweigh his beloved Veg assist. I was really hoping for something that would improve his neutral or allow other assists.

he can cancel it tho, just seems like people will have more optionsnow, which against kid buu they do have gainst.

Its kinda has for me which is one of the reasons why i dripped Nappa. Sometimes his J2H would only hit once and fuck up the combo with the opponent jumping out of it. So I'm glad they're fixing that, and hopefully the saibamen explosion will cause more damage.

Yeahhh, Kid Buu is pretty busted, not exactly a secret. I wouldn't say he got away with murder though given this patch didn't really do anything serious character specific apart from 16 (who still has a stupid footsie game btw. Still a solid character)

16 is going to be just fine. Heres what i found out so far.

All combos are in tact including the vegeta assisted ones. He can combo into super from DD (whew)

So far, from DD even with the recovery, he can iad M and connect it right when you recover. If he does it a little higher he can iad jM jL for a double overhead. He can do it sooner and wiff it or just go into a low. He can dash forward and do a low or dash forward and grab just like before. He can dash forward and dragon rush. He can call an assist and 5H. If you get hit you get looped back in. If you dont get hit, this setup is guaranteed pressure. He can delay the assist call and force you to block, then dragon rush before it hits you and loop you back. He can combo into level 3 and you get the same hkd mix as before.

All of these things can be countered, but he doesnt have less options, and im pretty sure the 5H plus assist one forces you to block. Not sure yet

i don't get the crying about 16, all that changed is that its going to be less favorable to go for vortex attempt than to just max out your damage and go for oki pressure like most other characters.


also why are some people saying piccolo got nerfed? from the look of the patch notes doesnt really looke like any nerf, looks more like some bug fixes tbh.

SonicFox's AFTER-PATCH team matches.

Some first look at high level Cell, Kid Buu, Gotenks, A16, Vegeta games

A16 certainly doesn't look like a scary "eat my forced mixup" monster that he was Pre-Patch. And this is a high level play. I can already see lots of people dropping him because of no more braindead HDK mixup bs.

Uh... @Invincible Salads ... no one is crying about 16. Like.. at all.

This video doesnt show that he's worse. He combos into DD without level3 TWICE the entire set. He hits after it once and drops the combo, and gets the iad read with a backdash the 2nd time.

It's stupid to use a sample size of TWO to determine he's not as good anymore, especially when the sample size you've used shows a 50% success rate against one of the best players in the world, which is better than you could have expected it to be before, this happened day one of the patch, and the guy seriously used only one of his available options. I listed like 5 or 6 options he has after DD. This video shows ONE.... and it shows it working. Are we gonna suggest SF would have got hit 100% of the time pre patch?

Braindead mixup BS? You play the heaviest mixup character in the game. Is it less braindead just because it doesnt start from hkd? Lol ok. Why are you acting like 16 players didn't make a conscious decision about which option to use before? Kid buu players do too. One was initiated from hkd and the other wasnt. Guess that means one is braindead but the kid buu blender BS isn't. Yeah.. sure.

This video is a showcase of how stupid cell and kid buu are. Not evidence that 16 is worse.

Honestly... how can you watch 15 minutes straight of people getting totally locked down by cell and kid buu and then being all, "see 16 is bad now!" That's not the conclusion here. At all.

You still need to react to his options after DD correctly, just like before. If you don't you get looped in and you try again. Just like before. The only thing that's really gone is the side to side.

Aside from these normalizations and 16's nerfs, patch seems incredibly light tbh. Krillin assist buff seems nice, Beerus 2M still kinda feels like booty on whiff, and wtf even happened with Cell? Nadda? Smdh.

Right? I dont even know what certain moves are called.. so i didnt even know which move they changed with cell. I thought it was the teleport but it's not.

He's like exactly the same. Lol

Pretty sure it's his full screen command grab but I don't play him so I can't figure what's different lol.

Either way, what a normalization! :rolleyes:

1) How about you stop acting like a salty kid whenever you see a post regarding A16 HDK. Actually whenever you post - be it Bardock, Reflect, Chicken-block, Cell, Vegeta - anything really.

2) I wasnt even talking to you but you took it like it was a personal insult lol. Chill the f out. I dont even care about your opinion since you cant make a single argument without acting up like a butthurt boy. You are not the only A16 player here, pal.

3) Kid buu doesnt have:
a) Braindead HDK, that also isnt after a Super that costs atleast 3 bars of metter. Yes - braindead since anyone besides you sees why A16s HDK is braindead that doesnt even require any real resources and thinking/specific setup. Makes you guess a 4-way mixup that leads into another HDK that leads into another HDK with another free 4-way mixup situation and so on.

b) Armored movies with invincibility frames

c) Meterless air command grabs that would be anywhere close to that speed of A16s

d) A16 general speed (the speed for his size char is just ridiculous)

e) Mid-string command grabs

f) A16s damage - be it meter or meterless options.

4) Kid Buu is a mixup char because he was designed to be that way. I dare you to tell me his options that leaves you in situation where you have to guess another 50/50 everytime he touches you but he has no assists to help him mix u up. Because that's exactly what A16 can do - force you guess 25/25/25/25 whenever he lands a hit on you - assistless.

I wont even bother further talking how for a "brawler/dmg tank/mixup monster/speed machine type of a guy - he also has ridiculiously good zoning tools aswell.

5) You can brag all you want how A16s is almost exactly as he was - totally fine with that lol. It wont change the fact that opponent now isnt forced to eat a 4+ way mixups without any other option but GUESS.

They removed the bug where he could do his command grab and it would catch people behind him. It was an obvious bug and very situational so yeah Cell still da best.

Sooooo tried a lil bit of the game last night and i guess they did not add the characters or the new modes....WOMP!

For some reason....Frieza feels off.....as in worst. My double overhead J2H make the opponent goes the opposite direction mid screen instead of on the same side....Man....honestly getting frustrated....u know what....

Im just gonna revamp my whole team and wait until the new DLC characters. PLEASE let me know when that happens. Until then....Tekken 7
