Just been seeing a decline online. Of course, the shitty servers have a major effect on why i can barely find anybody on ranked matches (yeah i went back and tried that) but the current meta of the game has no excitement.

You see another GROWhan *sigh*

You see a cell, then BOOM half your life is done

You see a Vegata ALWAYS as anchor, of course, and get jailed in by his assist.

etc etc

Been seeing ALOT of tournament and its mostly the same shit. Everybody wants to use the top tier characters like they're Go1. But i must say, i LOOOOOVE how @SonicFox5000 is using a team I have not seen yet in tournament and make it work. That alone kinda gives me hope to stick with my Gotenks.

This game just needs a huge balance and updates pronto!

Cell and growhan get nerfed you’re just gonna see other ones pop up over and over again imo.

I’d personally like to see the blues get buffed a bit. If SSB vegeta gets some love I’d be super hype

That be cool. Just something to shake it up a bit.

Love to see Grohan's legs nerfed cuz they really need to at this point. And Cell....i would say his damage becuz his loops are ridiculous

Yes. But only cause Im on Xbox. Everyone on here sucks/can never play. I love the game but fuck ranked and I can only do so much practice mode. Idrc anyway cuz now im the best fortnite player on Xbox.

I’m still loving it tbh, but a bit of a shakeup wouldn’t be the worst thing ever.... something to encourage more people towards the lesser-used characters.

Not sure many top chars need touching. AGohan maybe a little, as - unless I’m mistaken - his assist is his only “weakness”, everything else he does incredibly well, if not better than anyone.

I do think that if block strings are going to remain as powerful as they are, the defensive options are too lacklustre. This is my only real criticism thus far....

True. Actually his assist is pretty damn good and fits him well. Its more of a "GET DA FUCK OFF ME" type surprise attack that always seem to work well.

Speaking on defense, REFLECT needs an overhaul. I would say more of a pushback mechanic like full screen or something to make it work perfect. It just feels so wonky to use and still can get blown up by tracking combos.

I will say this tho....pics of Fused Zamarasu in-game are leaked and OH MY SWEET GURKENS does he look fucking AMAZING! I think he might be the catalyst that i need on my team!

It's all so very confusing.
Yeah I'd like to see some changes to the blockstring into assist into mix meta that dominates everything I see at high level, and to weaken that would very likely go a good ways towards auto-correcting some of the top tiers, and making some the less chosen characters more of an appetizing choice.

The issue isn't that anyone is out and out bad, it's just a "why choose" scenario where some characters just play the game better than some others. In that way, the somewhat homogeneous gameplay works against the game, especially in the meta we have right now.

I'd like to see some of the rarer characters get a change or two to give them a little more definition and personality in playstyle/strengthen what they already do. Minor tweaks to a few top tiers.. but minor. Most importantly though Id like to see universal defensive options beefed up and see how things settle afterwards

im trying to understand how gohan works, his combos, his pressure, etc, but i feel like im missing a lot of the finer points of the character.

alsoi don't think deflect should push full screen, i like where it is, because you can catch people pressing buttons pretty easy if you do it at the right time.

How do you feel you're missing out?

AG is about blockstrings.. all about 'em. You land a grounded hit and use his crazy long blockstrings and assists to facilitate mix. His 5L is a low of course, and an absolute monster of a normal for opening people up. Using his 2S to rocket straight down means your crossup pressure is even nastier than most..

And don't forget that he has his 3H, the command heavy launcher. This means he gets a jump cancel combo off any L or M hit, regardless of order. Since most characters have to land a 2M before a 5M to launch without using a grounded heavy and the following dash.. he can launch regardless, which makes him very stable in terms of routes.

This is just a guess, but if you feel like you're missing something with him, it's possibly that. I've seen a lot of people play him just because he's "the best".. but they aren't really capitalizing on what makes him so incredibly strong, and that's.his ability to touch you and hold you still for a long ass time, while threatening with his superb mix options the entire time they are locked down. Then using his beefy damage to make the eventual hit really hurt.

I have a question , when to fucking press buttons in this game ? For example in neutral I see smn dash at me and I know he will attack so I do lets say down medium or mash light yet he beats me out . But I attacked first ... I dont understand .

3) depends on hitbox, I get beat out by blacks long ass normals all the time

It takes getting used to.. the best way to describe it is momentum I think. If the other guy has momentum, you probably can't press buttons, especially online, until you get a feel for specific circumstances.

What you described happens to me constantly. I see a guy dash in and try to check him... And i get hit. Unless it's a long ass dash, I've learned to just block a lot of the time.

The online in this game is serviceable, but just barely, so if you try to rely on reactions to check someone's aggression, it's super dangerous..the game is all about offensive momentum in a general sense,

I know that's vague, but it's hard to give a more detailed answer to a general question like that.

This is pure fandom, he’s my fav char so fuck it I’ll use him. I know there’s no beam but I think I can still make it work
