GgsAnyone available to play on PSN?
Thanks for the specific points you made that is exactly what I was looking for when I asked for help with the MU. I can reflect the air.l after the ex legs unless I was not doing them tight enough the reflect window feels much smaller because you have time it as your negative after ex legs. For the A.Gohan convo, if Gohan does EX legs in the corner into j.LL you cannot reflect that is a true blockstring, i think it only has a gap if he’s level 1 for whatever reason. It also has a gap if you’re crouching and you play a midget (Lil Gohan, Gotenks, Frieza, Kid Buu etc).
All the other levels he can do derp into 2H ex legs j.LL repeat for as long as he has meter and it’s a true blockstring.
For whoever said no one is gonna dump all their meter on block.. in this scenario he’s not even losing much he builds like half a bar every rep of that blockstring so he’s spending a bar and building back half, more if he has an assist where he can do a rep meterless and build back the bar he spent earlier, now enjoy this 20 minute blockstring.
He can do ex legs j.2S into low, ex legs slightly delay j.L into 5L (good luck seeing the delay here) or the regular ex legs j.LL so its it’s three way mixup where you eat shit on hit or block.
You can guard cancel to get out but it has to be at the very end of ex legs, too early and you’ll come in right into the ex legs and back into the blender or too late and j.L will connect and you eat a lightning leg loop.
At any of the other points if you guard cancel you’ll come in into his normals and eat a combo free.

Why do you guys think Gohan's level 0 neutral is weak?
Only neutral buff he gets after install is tracking tele, which is great yes, but the rest of his top tier kit is still there from the get-go lol. 5M and 2M range is godlike, 5S is plus on block and stops super dashes, basic ki blast has an excellent angle while also creating space, Masenko beam, slight invincibility on DP, and he has an above average 2H.
I dunno, maybe it's just preference, but I prefer A.Gohan on point lately. Especially if he's the focus of the team.
I did not say A.Gohan’s neutral “struggled” in lvl 0, I said his neutral “suffered” in lvl 0. I’m not arguing semantics, these words are completely different, at least in the context I was using.I don't think I'd say he struggles in neutral exactly. I can see the desire to run Black out front though and early-swap into AG @lv1.
I use Black in a similar way with TGohan, who I run as point. I'll start with Black and work neutral a little and build up some meter without bleeding TG's health out to do it. In a best-case he's coming in lv1 blazing so the opponent is already on their back and he can try to play his momentum game right away, with one or two stocks still around.
Now we know why A.Gohan is broken AF.For the A.Gohan convo, if Gohan does EX legs in the corner into j.LL you cannot reflect that is a true blockstring, i think it only has a gap if he’s level 1 for whatever reason. I still think a.gohan has better lockdown, atleast in corner. Im talking about solo, no assists. But calling a.gohan broken @Tanno is a bit too much imo. He is deffinetly one of the best. Or maybe the bestBro, you ever been locked down by Cell? Lol I can go make a sandwich while he’s doing his thing (on hit AND on block)
Not downplaying growhan btw, I know they are basically in the same tier (use both of them and complete your transition to the dark side)

Bro, I'm not the only one saying that A.Gohan is broken. This discussion about him being broken came from DBFZ Discords. The other characters have pushback system in them, unlike Gohan. Even I have a hard time maintaining a blockstring combo with Beerus. My main got some gaps that are reactable.I still think a.gohan has better lockdown, atleast in corner. it really doesn't matter how many people agree with you, that doesn't just trump somebody's opinionBro, I'm not the only one saying that A.Gohan is broken. Context matters yeah. So it's not that he struggles. It's just that comparatively there's a drop off from 1 to 0 where it doesnt really make alot of sense to gimp yourself like that if you don't have to. Makes sense.I did not say A.Gohan’s neutral “struggled” in lvl 0, I said his neutral “suffered” in lvl 0. I’m not arguing semantics, these words are completely different, at least in the context I was using.
In comparison to what even lvl 1 can do VS what lvl 0 can do, his neutral absolutely suffers when he’s in lvl 0. It’s like having an incomplete character while no other characters have this issue. But even further, lvl 1 vs lvl 2 is also a big difference. To be clear, I am not at all saying lvl 0 A.Gohan is bad or that lvl 0 A.Gohan’s neutral is bad. Again, I used the word “suffers” for a reason.
I don’t want to get into a long post about all the differences, you can look those up. Basically what I was saying is that A.Gohan at lvl 0 is a handicap for him, in neutral or otherwise, so why have him on point? That isn’t to suggest that not having him on point guarantees he’ll come in with at least a lvl 1, he can be snapped in or my other characters can die before I have a chance to z change. I’m talking about maximizing the effectiveness of not only A.Gohan as a single character and his neutral, but maximizing his effectiveness for my team as a whole. And as others who are much better at the game and much better with A.Gohan have already stated, he seems to be much better utilized not on point so you can maximize the chance of him starting out at at least lvl 1 potential unleashed.
RIGHT!? Fat Buu got some dirty ass setups with that laffy taffy trap move too lolLol a.gohan.
"But omg 16 has a 100% reactable setup that no one gets hit by at high levels!"
No one is gon git nerfed. Arksys dun roll like dat. If anything they'll troll the F out of everyone and buff the top tiers.
Honestly though it feels like this game has like 3 tiers. Three or four ridiculous characters... maybe 5.. everyone else slightly under that, and fat buu tier.
Cause He has midget hitboxes to go along with itBut i just discovered that Beerus has a midget hurt box....WHYYYYYYYY!!!!???
What you mean, they just got done nerfing a bunch of characters in Guilty?Lol a.gohan.

Ugh....well....i dont use him, but notice in practice mode some of my Frieza combos do not hit like most characters. Find that kinda odd, but whateva...At least im learning different stuff everydayCause He has midget hitboxes to go along with it

Also, 16 mixes work at the highest level in fact it was the highest level players who started talking about 16, as usual the groupthink just parroted it, but not until sonic and others talked about how messed up 16 is first
Yes they do get hit, and that is not nearly all that makes a16 as strong as he is and u know that. Not calling for nerfs or bitching about him but he is rly goodLol a.gohan.

Nah, bro. It's the other way around. I don't go agreeing with most people without base their opinions somewhere. In Discords there are some experienced anime FG players, and there are some videos showing A.Gohan's infinite blockstring not leaving a gap in his combo.@Tanno so dbfz discord is only place where people can discuss this about this game and they are automaticly right? Many people here play as much dbfz as someone on dbfz discord channel. I personally think that a16 is closer to broken than any other char in this game. And I am not saying that he is broken
