ya I tend to reflect projectiles, but a lot of people tend to face roll their buttons while calling assists so it's a bit tougher there. I guess I could reflect when I choose to DP, but I prefer resetting the neutral...something to look into

I guess I would have to put myself in the situation to understand it and weigh the risk reward of my options. With cell though the reward is usually never in your favor. So your saying you can only reflect out of it and there is a small gap that you have to time multiple reflects? When you say mashing the gap I am assuming it is with reflect right or are you talking about normals?

And what are you doing even in a cell block string in the first place with all this offense talk :DOGE
I'm gonna be frank with You... reflect is only useful when the opponent becomes very predictable. also. there's times that You have only three options: To hold all of that blocking. to reflect and be risked to be punished and no retaliating. or risk it and retaliate (mashing 2H or 5L) to start your own offense. also... They can make You to mistime your reflect and punish You.

If You have a character with DP. It's preferable to do DP instead.:)

Oh holy 2H oh be saved 5L and 2L saviour of poor scrubs like me when They mistime their assist into overhead or strings into more strings into assist crap. So I can start my own bullshit on them. LMAO. I tried to be too a finesse reflect idiot. soon I realized the amount of bullshit on block.

Reflect only works on finesse idiots that don't abuse block strings into assists.
I dunno. Everyone always tries to continue after they get reflected. So reflect SD works alot. Or just reflect 5H, reflect vanish, whatever.

Reflecting should work fine as long as you dont time it when the assist is coming. You're making it sound like even of you reflect, their predictable continuation will have to be blocked anyway. No one stops and blocks once you reflect them. If they do, you reversed pressure. If they dont, pick whatever option you want to wiff punish the predictable followup / attempted string continuation

Case point: You reflect hit and hit will be still on your face.
You reflect android 16 He will 5H your counter offense attempt.
You reflect Black or Cell ... They Can cancel into unblock able. So does Hit LMAO.
Go1 I mean Gohan. I swear He can put You into an UN-reflect-able block-string until He gets out of meter in the corner.

Are you trying to say reflect is worthless when assists are being called in block strings and I should not use it?
In his example there isn't a good opportunity to use reflects because every available opportunity is covered by assists. In short, none of these attacks are grounded reflectable mids that would be followed up with another one, so it would be a bad idea to try it. Not the case against an adult gohan player. You block his 2M, no way he doesnt follow up with anything. Reflect that attack. Then he's going to keep pressing buttons. Dont let him.

So yeah.. arksys game favors offense again.

You could try and doing the strings with assists and replaying it and looking at your options in training. I personally wouldnt wait to try and reflect at the point where the only way he can continue pressure is by linking with assists.. i'd reflect way before that.

Ok so if reflect is a bill vs a.gohan in the corner your holding everything until he runs out of meter unless you want to take the chance of guessing after a reflect?

No one is going to use all of their meter on Block, when u Block enough Im sure they are gonna stagger something or do a dragon rush. And that is the time u challenge or break dr to get away from pressure.

Oh yeah I know that is why I am asking for specific things I could look out for. I have had people do plenty of multiple reps with ex legs after I blocked everything and then to only get hit by a iad into 2s low mix up.

I don't have this problem with anyone else except cell to a extent but I have more experience with cell so I figured I would ask here.

Have anyone else had this problem, I fought fellow finnish player in ranked and our connection was flawless, but when we got to a ring match our connection was pretty bad. Also I was playing with @ShArp and he from Eu( Liethuenia I think, which is pretty close to Finland) and we had pretty bad connection in ring match.
It's Lithuania. About ring match, I had 11ms or more with @ShArp . Either all of us have crappy connection, or they're trying to fix this. I'll wait for March Patch to find out.

It's all so very confusing.
I felt this way for awhile, it seems other A.Gohan point mains (for the most part) feel similarly. I find myself switching A.Gohan out as quickly as possible. Level 0 with no meter A.Gohan suffers in the neutral I feel. I believe Nakkiel said this awhile back, that he switched him off point so he could z change into his super. There’s actually a huge difference between lvl 0 and lvl1 A.Gohan, I have a hard time keeping pressure and opening people up with lvl 0 A.Gohan. I guess I’m gonna have to switch Black to point, because no way I’m running Vegeta point, lol.

I also need to use Vegeta’s assist more. For some reason I’m still not using it correctly or as often as I should.

I kinda really want the DLC to come out, I need some new characters!
I don't think I'd say he struggles in neutral exactly. I can see the desire to run Black out front though and early-swap into AG @lv1.

I use Black in a similar way with TGohan, who I run as point. I'll start with Black and work neutral a little and build up some meter without bleeding TG's health out to do it. In a best-case he's coming in lv1 blazing so the opponent is already on their back and he can try to play his momentum game right away, with one or two stocks still around.

As I said, ranked and casual are fine, the problem has to be in the ring match itself

Really wish that Broly trailer came with a release date, surprised we didn't get a way too short Bardock trailer to tickle our balls a little with it.

"Sleeper" usually means a character that's very strong but isn't noticed or played very often. A character that's very powerful but not thought of as all that strong.

The term can refer to a player as well.. Imagine there was a tournament with the usual big names attending, but a player most people had.never heard of and knew nothing about showed up and bodied everyone and got into top8. that player could be seen as a sleeper in the tournament, since no one knew he/she was.that good.

Sleepers in dbfz are possibly.TGohan and Piccolo. 21 was for a while but she's been picked up on finally.

Speaking of players, I'd call @Yammini a sleeper, because he made Top 8 at last Viennality. And thanks for the term itself. That sleeper meme happens, because nobody ever does a proper breakdown to those characters, i.e. Piccolo. This happens, because nobody have ever made it more deep than the mains.

How many people dont use goku black? Probably less than actually use the blues.

Every damn team has stupid goku black or adult gohan. Usually its both.

I use black he is great all around that fills everything on every team, he is a bit too well rounded honestly. He is not on the same lvl as A.Gohan, Cell and 16 and I would rather play vs black every game vs a player who somewhat knows how to play one of those 3.

This is all my personal opinion though as I think black is def #4

I agree with #4, possibly due to mu exp tho, no shortage of that for Black.

Edit - more my “would rather face” list than a tier list
