I was thinking about uploading some of those matches, unless you wanted to do it?Same to you @Juggs
I needed more patience against that sick pressure!

I’m UK, but kinda free to good players (addicting to labbing swag up until now, ready to move forward). Depending on your skill, it’s up to you if you wanna help me get to a standard where I can help you. Normally free for an hour or 2 most days. Psn same as here. Who do you use?Anyone from EU who wants daily games/training partner can add me on psn: ShArp_5000
Man, i feel u 100! Ive kinda stopped doing ranking system because I'm branching out to try different people. Currently trying Cell, Frieza, and Vegeta since Cell is....ya know....PERFECT! But not sure if he's perfect for me because his combos take ALOT of practice and the timing needs to on point. Im NOT gonna go into ranking or probably not even Casuals until i get him down.I was wondering what modes you guys are mostly playing, in order to get the best connections and matches.
I've about had it with rank and casual since I'm fighting for good connections and players while battling rage quits and dropped connections.
Ring matches seem like the best since I can set the settings to how ever I like it but enough about me what do you guys use?
Oh a I hope there is a massive online patch coming with my main man Brolly whom I litterly can't wait to put on my big body team.
Online needs a miracle. A prayer & a wish from the super Dragonballs to make it top tier.

Guys, add this fella. His A. Gohan is sick.Anyone from EU who wants daily games/training partner can add me on psn: ShArp_5000
It’s really hard for me to learn new characters when my team is so strong and works so well. Like, I wanna learn the cast so I know what they can do so it helps with MU knowledge, but that would be pretty much the only reason. My team fits me perfectly.
A.Gohan is essentially a UMK3 character (with his insane block pressure and damage). And I absolutely love how he’s the only character that can power up gradually and keeps his powerups the entire match until he dies.
Vegeta has always been my favorite DBZ character so the fact that he’s actually good solo and has the best assist in the game is perfect.
Goku Black is an edgelord but he’s probably my favorite DragonBall villain of all time. And he’s so good in this game and all of his moves look incredible.
And then you put these characters together and they just flow so well with one another. It feels like I learn something new about the game and my team every time I play. I know this is kinda a pointless post, just expressing my satisfaction so to speak.
I am definitely going to use (or at least try out) all DLC though. Definitely gonna have a Vegito team if he actually ends up being DLC as the leaks suggest.
You can go ahead.I was thinking about uploading some of those matches, unless you wanted to do it?
Nice, all of my sets yesterday were against much stronger players than I which helped me learn a lot. They helped me realize my weaknesses and I saw what holes I have in my game.made friends with top 5 online player. Had sets. GOT destroyed. He's up for doing it again whenever i want. Best training i could ask for
Where are you located?@ShArp Add me. Casual is blah, rank is blah, so i NEED a training partner at this point. Please add me or anybody

So like ring matches you're been playing? I understand tho. It's best to keep off rank. I tend to get tilted. Dealing with the stupidity of rq's, dsynchronizations, lag jumping from 2 frames to 20 and all the rest it's just better to control your matches by running ring matches instead.Man, i feel u 100! But i DID finding a 7k combo using all team members and a level 3. IT IS SICK! Like some Chris G shit, but daaaaaamn its not easy to do lol. I'll upload that later since ive been so MIA with content as of recently.
There's no better self-learning than playing against way better players. I approve your post.Nice, all of my sets yesterday were against much stronger players than I which helped me learn a lot. They helped me realize my weaknesses and I saw what holes I have in my game.
ALL OF THIS! And thats the thing tho, i havent been playing any Ring matches really because i really have nobody to play with since most the those matches are locked. Ive only played 1 random one, kicked ass, and then got kicked out for kicking ass. WOMP.com! And dont even get me started on the dropping connections. Hell, i even get dropped at the VS screen sometimes....I cant tell if ppl are rage quitting or just getting disconnected. ITS THAT BAD!So like ring matches you're been playing? I understand tho. Bad connections? Dude you gone. Vamanos son.
Trolling matches? Beat kid.
I'm done with rank and casual until they fix the online. But I've been sending out requests to other high ranking players online some are meh others... Wow man... Just wow. Game been out a few weeks and they are playing like Sonic and other top players. But they'll have sets with you and give you great pointer's to help.you along.
My game is improving but I realize that fighting random is not the best way to utilize my time especially when I have a total of 80+ hours into the game.

Yeah ranked and casual matches suck. I’s rather play sets with good players in ring matches. I’ve leveled up way more playing @ProudDisciple, @freerf245, Nahh Bruhh, lord akuma and more in ring matches than ranked. I HAVE met some great players in ranked tho, that are great and have decent connections. I’m actually gonna play a set with iHoeky Poeky, the #1 ranked player, he’s really good and apparently he was the #1 ranked in Injustice as well.So like ring matches you're been playing? Ive realized that I need to spend more time in the lab. This whole “I’ll learn as I play” doesn’t cut it against players that are more skilled than I am. This game has me really excited to grow, Im not looking to compete but I look forward to hanging with pink squares since Im a lowly yellow square. There's no better self-learning than playing against way better players. Honestly I dread spending time in the lab but I understand its importance. My gameplay has always been theory driven and then tested out vs my opponents with little to no training prior. I guess I just need to learn how to best utilize my time while Im in there. My offense and execution need work but I also need to adjust my mindset about pressing more buttons on offense and on defense. How do I become less passive?I'm one of those players that can't level up heavily in the lab for some reason. I ABSOLUTELY lab, I'm probably 50/50 or so in time spent, but when I get into matches it all just fucks off into the wind and I butcher blockstrings and basic pressure and everything in between, lol.
For me the lab is for when a player shits on me doing something I don't understand, I'll lab it out afterwards and figure out the weaknesses/options/etc.. but I am notoriously bad at transferring labbed knowledge to real matches without basically having to relearn whatever it was entirely.
My main training partner is different, he labs something and then that's it..he's got it. That part of his game is now just better. Meanwhile I'm missing another jump cancel or getting confused on whether I can 2h jc in this combo, or my favorite right now - forget that my combo didn't spike them, so I land and do a lv1 which they block and blow me up for.
Yay! Lol.
Nah, the "I'll learn as I play" is sufficient to learn something from them. You never know. You might find something in the matches that you'll never hope to learn in the labs. I'll have to thank DBFighter from Sweden that taught me some stuff when we played a ranked set. I'm gradually learning ASW games this way. IMO, to compete is to have fun against your friends. I don't see it as serious competition as I do in real martial arts.Ive realized that I need to spend more time in the lab. I should have specified that I feel that I can’t just rely on learning as I play. I think that learning how to lab effectively and doing it more offen will ultimately reap more benefits for me. I definitely agree with you about situations in matches that come up that I might not think of on my own. So far in this game I don’t think that I’ll figure out how to deal with certain situations on the fly and will need to lab it.Nah, the "I'll learn as I play" is sufficient to learn something from them.
