Nice to see new faces. I am going to start tonight on a little project. Since 1man3letters said Kabal's EX dash can be stuffed on wakeup, I am going to test and compile a list of every move that chop chop will eat up on wakeup, and at what distance. This will take a while, but it would be worth it.

as already stated,already in the process and imo it wont need a new thread, just put it in community guide, it will still be seen

Well I'm extremely happy Raka and I are finally clicking and it's not feeling like an uphill battle anymore well at least for most matchups :( but still very pleased and as I was playin I was starting to think how mega Baraka would be with a super armor grab X-ray like kanos or jaxs ... Thoughts ? And any tips for d1 into slices input for a Raka noob :) ? I play on a joystick of the Xbox controller btw !!

change rakas xray? i say nay,no point and no need

imo if they buff recovery on spark that would prob be the only thing baraka needed,would like to see b3,1 changed to -7 on block instead of -11

d1 can only be canceled in slices if d1 hits or blocked,i use down1,foward1 and the neg edge does it for me :banana:

That helps alot thankyou xD and i know i love his xray ... its basicly a 3rd fatality its so bad ass i was just thinking for how i play baraka and how similar he kinda plays like jax and kano it was strange that he didnt get a grab xray i mean he has blades coming out of his arms !! oh well not complaining here and i that spark idea would be great also !

Baraka is truley a monster !! i am becoming more patient with him in every match and its paying off very well im starting to go 3-4 wins for every loss and thats because i think i run out of stuff to mix in my game play and my opponent has gotten used to me cutting him in half >:D so now im off to zee lab to find more mix ups ill post if i discover anything new or that i think is new :)

I main Baraka

I've mastered Baraka & definitely consider him my main. He's so brutal in his attacks that he has helped me get to the top 400 players online. :)

so looking like my next tourny is jan 28th @doc6,
after losing in the grand finals of my last 2 tournies im really hungry for this one,
the competion will be harder though with the new players that have recently come into the irish scene,one is a well known tym'er usedforglue,there is also a sick smoke/radien player that im glad has found his way to us

anyways any other tarkatans got any tournies coming up???

Well, I took your advice and finally tried him tonight...kicking myself in the ass for waiting so long! He's a blast and picking him up took about 20 minutes lol

see thats the thing about raka, hes quite simple to play, nothing flashy, just goes in and gets the job done

imo hes still lacking one or two things for his to become the completed baraka i think he should be but hey i was playing v1.0 baraka so guess i cant complain now

and on the fun factor,yes hes awesome,i have more fun losing with raka at times than winning with someone else, but thankfully barakas getting alot more respect now a days which makes my tarkatan heart smile :allhomo:

I find my self now while pressuring enemy that I now back off a few frames and I catch them more with U4 and U3. Yes U4 is punishable but they never do :)
