Bat management I'm dead. Fam he can lose a bat by being whiff punished , getting hit , using 1/2 to keep slide unsafe ect and have another one already charged and ready to press 4 again w no real management because it charges so damn fast. There's no risk to using 1 bat, throwing batarangs until the second one is halfway charged and the going in with that one bat to start your offense and rinse & repeat process.
 
Characters also have mega ambiguous setups...
Green Lantern. Canary has a pool of em. Feel free to add in. I usually know when Batman is gonna crossup. Not when I'm in the vortex no, and that's the point of a vortex. Guess.

I'm all for slower bat charge. If it's that problematic. It's pretty shit on block meaning the timing has to be A1 for any follow up.
Another thing is blocking low against Batman seems to be highly effective, as he has no real overhead starter besides f3. Which can be poked out of.
Let's give Canary a faster trait charge as a matter of fact.
 
A lot of characters have cross ups, but no character has one like batman. There are cross ups that can be just as ambiguous but they're often in set ups, like green lantern. Batmans is just his j2. The best jump 2 ever.
Eh black Adam also has a similar j2. His is just more floaty. Plus he also has the j2 cross up setups inthe corner too
 
What I wanna know is why are people still talking about batmans j2? Yes all of us know it's stupid but there are things way worse in the game rn :p

For example whiff punishing catwoman is still unheard of. She's actually even worse with the yolo j2's. Or why the hell supergirl can hit almost 500 off of a one bar trait combo lmao. Or one of the main ones supermans f23 lol. Judge me but I'd rather face a j2ing batman any day over having to hold f23 trait cancel mind games all match. At least batman suffers from predictability but for superman there's nothing you can do except suffer lol :p

I can't speak to who the cheapest character is -- but I can say that 'cheapest' and 'best' have nothing to do with each other.

I mean Supergirl isn't an optimal MU for Canary but Sonic mopped the very best Supergirl completely free. Then again Theo obviously didn't know the MU and as such...Mopped.

Um no she isn't lol. 112 is safe,b12 is safe, 21/23 into level 2 cry is a safe 50/50. Which she has 90% of the time due to the charge to level 2 being so fast. 113 is also safe. She's only as unsafe as you want her to be. Plus he already mentioned it, even if you block her 50/50 chances are you won't punish it since her mindgame with the delay is so potent.
After 2 block low then oh and you escape the mix, unless your in the corner and good luck there. A good canary will only hit confirm into bf2 so don't wait on that move to start your turn. Flip = full combo also its not a wake up =full combo. Don't respect her j3. Neutral jump after 112.

What makes her strong is canary drop. There are multiple ways to deal with it. Depending on character, d2 can also work. I think the smartest thing to do is instant air j1. The flash has scarier mix honestly. Bully her on knockdown and she can't do anything, just read a bf2 wake up if they risk it.
Lord jesus. You can't fuzzy her 21,23 bro. She can delay it meaning if you block low first and then rise up, that low will tag you. Plus doing that opens you u to not being able to poke out of the delay. If you keep ducking and try to react to the delay we can just either A. do the OH with NO delay and tag you or B. Do 2 , delay(1 sec) 1, which will beat out your poke attempt. Sorry but a "good" canary is not going to do 21 or 23 on BLOCK into bf2. On hit sure but it's really iffy trying to hit confirm those two strings and only a few i have seen actually can do it. Maybe u think she is unsafe cus the guy u play does bf2 on block a lot after you guessed correctly and u got a free punish but naw bro you are misinformed. Btw her wakeup is invincible throughout the first few frames meaning it actually is a reliable wakeup on some characters. Some can meaty it sure but still is a psuedo get outta jail free card since you have to change your entire mindset around that move. If you mistime meaty she gets up for free. If you try and bait it and walk back, she can just get up normally and you gave up your oki. If you do your meaty correctly every time she can just max delay to avoid it. You gotta think about that everytime you knock her down. I think thats a pretty good mindgame to sift through.

Yeah and I'm telling you it's not fuzzyable because of the delay. I have ppl who have played against her since I mained her in the beta. None of them block her 100% of the time it's just not possible. You're not reacting to the delay because she can do it without the delay and go straight into low or overhead and hold it for a legit split second and catch your fuzzy on the way up while u attempt to cover the OH option after the low. You can play against her 100 times over it won't matter u can't block her correctly everytime it's just not possible unless the canary player is predictable as hell. She can make herself safe on legit anything bruh. So if you want to be technical 21 & 23 are safe as long as u have lvl 2 or 1 which she has 90% of the time. That's a safe 50/50 and she has a fullscreen combo starter. The flash stuff is your opinion idrc how you feel about comparing the two
 
This reminds me exactly of the hate Kung Lao got in mkx. Guess people want to tell you to be patient fullscreen and inch your way in on projectiles but when you get in they better not have to be patient against you lol.

I really don't think Canary or Catwoman are that nasty. They are balanced because they are rushdown in your face type characters that have to get in in order to do their stuff. I don't even mind deadshot, he is a zoner he does his thing from afar.

Batman on the other hand when he is upclose he is the most overwhelming character in the game even more than Bane or Grodd and that is not it, when he is afar he can throw projectiles while moving back building meter and waiting for his trait to charge so that he can get back in your face with his infinite "plus" frames and ambiguous crossups. Batman players say his zoning is "mediocre" WTF he can zone almost half the cast and stand toe to toe with many of the other characters (blue beetle, firestorm, red hood, poison ivy, joker) in the zoning department.
