Apologies to TYM

Just to address the "Why so serious, it's just a game" argument:

No, Injustice 2 is "just a game". TYM is a community. It may have it's problems, sure, but it's hands down the best community for fans of NRS games, and I've been alienating too many of its members with my polarizing posts. I know it may seem silly to post such a serious apology on a forum for video games, but this community is important to me and I feel like the points made in the OP needed to be said. I firmly believed that TYM deserved an apology from me.

As far as my future posts go, I'll still be posting my thoughts and opinions, and not all of them will be positive; many will still be controversial. But I'll be careful to word them as respectfully and diplomatically as possible. Any controversial post is already going to bring out the worst TYM has to offer, but I can at least take steps to make it easy to agree or disagree with my points without resorting to toxic behavior.

Honesty man I wouldn't worry, it's important to have things like this happen so you can learn from them, ideally in the future if something has tilted you heavily I would sit on it for a bit before you post about it and figure out what you can do to un-tilt yourself

wrong tym is a fuckin game as well and you are playing very poorly right now by caring so much

TYM used to be great, and even with its current problems it's the best community for NRS games. Just look at Gamefaqs, Eventhubs, Reddit, and others. I'd probably drop gaming forever if that's what I had to put up with.

The more of us who can make even a minor effort not to be dicks to each other, the better it is for all of us.

So that's it, a long facetious post, a couple gifs, a quick kumbaya from the admins, and we're just giving him the benefit of the doubt on never flipping the fuck out on anybody cause he doesn't know how to block again? He's already said this place used to be great, twice.

Not sure what else you want. Sure, an apology by itself is pretty meaningless, but I sincerely do plan to change my behavior going forward. Feel free to call me out if that doesn't turn out to be the case.

Also not sure why you're calling the post facetious (i.e. treating serious issues with deliberately inappropriate humor; flippant). Enough people have already accused me of the opposite, of taking it too seriously. So which is it?

We all make mistakes. I've made mistakes and am trying to right them. The only time I ever "flip the fuck out on anybody" is when they come in posting unreasonable and toxic statements like yours.

In any case, whether you accept it or not, I've said my piece and am genuinely sorry for my behavior and am taking concrete steps to correct any issues going forward.

This place did used to be great, and just a hint: posts and people like this are the problem. No need to come in here with this bullshit.

So you inaccurately call my post facetious as an insult and then threaten to go make an actual facetious apology thread to prove some misguided point? What point are you even trying to make; that we should never forgive anyone for any mistake, ever? This is why I say TYM used to be great; I still love it and it's still miles above any other NRS community site, but there's too much nonsense like this allowed to go on.

I admit wrongdoing on my part. I'm trying to make things right. I don't think that's unreasonable.

So, should I just go, and let you get back to making TYM great again? Cause I dropped it a page ago, you've got administrative backing and I'm a villain of well repute around here.
