Well I messed with it a lot and if you make a hard enough read you can actually get a meaty taunt but it's either a hard read on delay wakeup or sacrifice like 200+ dmg on a v trigger combo so it's pretty unlikely you'll ever wanna use it.

Hey got a question if you don't mind answering, when vega goes up in the air (not his super) he can guide himself to land on whichever side of his opponent he wants right?
he can guide himself, but hitting someone is tricky enough. Often you are lucky to even connect with an aware opponent, so you are best just aiming to hit them, your opponent probably has more control over what side you land than you do

if you want an easy cover all, jump back MK for most chars will either stuff it or make him waste a bar, generally. You can see what else works for you of course

It's really only useful for setups and combos. Using it in neutral is kinda crazy. But low level vegas will still do it a ton like karins rassenha.

Ah ok, I remember back in sf2. I was a kid, this vega player kicked my ass hard all the time by just going to the wall and suplexing me. Then I learned to just jump back and press jab. Was just curious if his move was counterable easy like before. But can't vega like cancel it or just choose to land away from his opponent?
Hey Rushdown - how does Akuma do against Guile, Fang, Dhalsim, and Rashid? I am considering picking Akuma up as a secondary - was getting hype watching Snakeyes and Tokido at E-League - but don't want to spend the time if he has the same bad matchups as Birdie, as it'll be redundant. Those 4 characters are the only ones I would personally consider switching against as Birdie.
Jump back plus a button(depends on character what the best button is) will beat it pretty much every time.
