played lots of TTT2 today got mauled with pressure buttons, everything, my execution went so low lol, got lots of Ls from Ivo and Smith, but it seemed my sidestep game has increased tons, can't wait for T7, i need to stay sharp.

So the Tekken fb page just teased what could be the next reveal. There are two characters that work for their goverment, one is Dragunov, who is the other one? I'm almost positive its Lei Wulong, since he is a cop. What are your thoughts guys? Am I missing someone?

I'm kinda undecided if i want the deluxe Edition or not, Harada said he won't be selling the classic tekken characters, so i assume anyone who was on TTT2 will not be part of the Season pass, so was he talking about brand new characters or Guests?

Tekken wouldn't be the same without our supercop drunken master, he is the reason why I love the franchise in the first place. Can you imagine such a elaborate and technical playstyle to be apsent? Well they could change their mind about it, people would go ape shit if they're going to sell guests instead of their favorites, but if they do end up sell us guests, I think some from the Soul Calibur games would fit in Tekken quite well imo..

Harada said he wouldn't be selling classic characters as DLC, so i assume anyone that came in TTT2 will be in the game without needing the season pass.

The only char we know for sure is a paid DLC at this point if you don't pre-order her now is Eliza, and she is not a classic Tekken character.

My friend Ivo has a theory, if Eliza is the least most wanted character to return and its on the game, this pretty much confirm everyone else like Julia, Lei, Kuni, etc etc.

I honestly want this theory to be true, if classics are not DLCs as Harada says they won't be, there is a higher chance that the DLC characters coming are:

a) brand new characters
b) Guests from other games

And i want it to be B, because i've always imagined Akira going on a brawl in the Tekken Universe.

The main thing that worries me is that these newer characters will have extremely little playtesting in the arcades (if any at all) before hitting consoles, so they might not be balanced as well as the main cast thus far.

we're getting patches and luckily they're legacy characters so they're not gonna be that different from tag

Fair enough but I feel like had the characters been released more quickly in arcades, we could save valuable hotfixes / patches for the middle / end of the game's life cycle and adjust characters according to how they fit in the metagame.

The characters that are not yet released are more balanced than say Bob. When he was released, there was so much more hitbox issues than the whole of the vanilla problems.

Its just the new meta, Harada said pretty clearly. "If you really want the juice in T7, then you will have to carry them to the wall, otherwise no juice"

So every character does about 35% damage midscreen and 45%, 50% to 80% with a wall and the right counter

Hmmmm...
I feel like Demolition Man and Phoenix Bone Breaker offer comparable amounts of corner carry with less recovery, but I'm seeing Phoenix Smasher used almost every time (Granted, I'm just watching AK and Furimizu).

Not really, its just if they hit the floor before the wall then they do that roll thing before they can recover. If you want more people to watch, check out Justice, Porsche and Rushcash.
