you missed the part where I said: "that usually still works in the favour of the attacker" that turns the 'drawback that the attacker MUST account for" moot

most of the times gaps can only be backdashed or contested on a stagger read by generally a poke

the attacker still has the better outcome on the situation: at worst the neutral is reset, he may get clipped by a 1% damage poke and has to eventually hold a blockstring OR he clips with the followup any attempt of retaliation and gets mad plus on block or an hitconfirm on hit possibly into the same situation again

No, I took it into account, I just still don't get it. You don't want to reset back to normal if you're a melee character, because there's a lot of catching to do in Injustice, way moreso than MK. Green Lantern's main string being backdash-able was a huge reason why he was not as good a character as he was initially perceived. That kind of stuff matters, and I think dismissing it is really bizarre. Let's also not forget that this is a high starter as well that will really only be landing off jump ins; the comparison with Cassie and Kotal is way off.

All that being said from my view, the Beta's purpose is to stress test the servers more than the balancing. But it doesn't mean questions regarding some of the balancing can't be raised.

Of course you can still raise concerns, but the problem is people are putting it out as if this is what we're getting in May.

We also have to keep in mind, the build of the game in the beta could very well be extremely far behind, which I suspect. Some of this stuff could have already been addressed in later builds. What we're seeing in the beta could have already changed a very long time ago. Remember, whenever NRS has put out pre-release demos/betas, the builds are usually extremely old.

Lol I can't even answer that for you. I doubt during development, anything is truly balanced until they enter the actual balancing phases of development. I don't know how other fighters look on the beta sides of things, but I can't imagine they're clean, either.

Saltface has more results in Soul Calibur than this guy. The major that he won was basically a local. He's not ranked in the top 100 on SCV which is where his few results have come from.

That's not a top player at all.

I've recorded a tournament win over every current top player outside of Sonic, who I've beaten in a very long set with tens of thousands of views. I get shit on and called a non-top player, but this guy can make baseless claims about how he was a top player in a game where he wasn't even top 150, with much less competition than a current NRS game.

Regulation is not in order.

Why are so many people that clearly hate NRS games on an forum based on NRS games?

You must not have seen the forums for SF5.. Their own people are calling it "Sleep Fighter 5".

We tend to criticize the things we love the most, because we're closely attached to them and notice their flaws.

Whether all of these are truly flaws is up for debate -- but the #1 place you find criticism of any competitive game is on the forums for said game. This goes for shooters, MOBAs, etc.
