I'm sorry but if you're complaining about Supergirl now or any of the pre release characters being OP or making huge inferences based on 2 minutes of gameplay then you're on idiot.

Master of Storms Raiden looked orgasmic in the Raiden reveal trailer but lmao now, Takeda looked suuuuper good in the kombat kast but vanilla Takeda sucked, Kenshi even looked pretty good but vanilla Kenshi was total shit, Ethereal Mileena also looked great but she was useless at launch. Like.. come on

i'm just surprised that NRS doesnt appear to have learned their lesson yet from Injustice Scorpion. Having characters with full screen Rear attacking teleports period in back to block games is just bad....the only reason scorpion wasnt a problem anymore was because they nerfed him so damn hard.
I mean in SFV can't Dhalsim do some ridiculous teleport setups? its not like NRS is the onlyone doing this guys chill

Another complaint I have about the new footage is that it looks like a mixture of high res (face) and lo res (hair and portions of costumes) details. Makes things look kind of wonky altogether.

Weren't you a dhalsim player in SFIV? We don't know the properties of the teleport... it could be high like scorpion's was. And it looks pretty easily reactable.

I mean I can't stop people from having opinions, but maaaan come on lol

2 years per game isn't enough. It's gonna be broke as fuck. I don't know if these videos will tell us exactly what will be good and what will be bad.

Why is noone talking about the teleport hard-to-blockables, people shot me down before because tele wasn't an OH but... MbTele is. This plus the slow moving whirlwind move is gonna force so many dumb mixups.

Regardless of whether its OP or not it just seems dumb. I mean, hard-to-blockables in MKX aren't broken because half the cast bloody has them, doesn't make them any less stupid.

The ironic thing is, without the run button, traditional footsies probably actually will make a strong return in INJ2.
I remember people saying MKX will now have real footsies due to the run button now giving us "real movement options" so I wouldn't get your hopes up just yet.

Think the tele design is kinda lame, but people are still overreacting. The game will have like 30 chars or whatever and they showcase one character and people lose their shit. How do we know Grodd won't have a 1 hit kill punch??? We don't know what anyone else will do yet. The reaction to the first showcased character when we know nothing about every other character is beyond absurd.
Yeah but is that a good thing or a bad thing that the other characters could be even worse than this? Its just as bad having two dumb characters as it is having one and I don't think its a bad thing that people are voicing their concerns.

NRS should have a balancing team who can use their own initiative and distinguish between just crying and genuine concerns. I mean, everyone makes mistakes and I get that they're just human, but three broken games later and we're still getting, what appears to be, the same stupid stuff in the game. Literally the same mistakes as past titles.

I dunno, hopefully someone brought Paulo some new glasses for Christmas, his vision is obviously not getting any better.

This is exactly what I was gonna bring up. All the people using pre-MKX characters looking broke as an example don't realise a lot of them got nerfed pre-release. Takeda, the most frequent example, WAS nerfed post-Kombat Kast and he probably was busted at first.

This is not a good argument.

If I remember correctly in injustice 1 there was a system to stop stuff like this. If someone like bats released his trait and then crossed you up you just had to block the crossup so as long as the whirlwind is just a mid then I assume the same thing will happen.

Hopefully, I'd be more surprised if there wasn't a system in place to prevent this as it seems so obvious it's not a good idea.

I wonder if in the future nrs will take capcom's approach and let their games last more than two years alive.
Sf4 was released in 2008 and was alive in competition until sf5 release in 2016, that's 8 years of constant evolution that enriches the game.

Nrs has made such a complex game in mkx, with an astonishing potential due to variation system, and they are probably letting it die after a patch that radically changed all, and naturally asked for a new series of patches to settle that vision. It is a waste, and a shame. A poorly done, unfinished job.

Also, Injustice saga feels like an obstacle for games that expand mk universe (like shaolin monks) to happen. Maybe nrs should consider the idea of having different teams for each one of their sagas.

Oh yea whining about it is totally better than just waiting. Makes us look real great as a community. Listen I understand the idea of trying to make sure we don't have dumb shit on release but EVERY game has dumb shit. We have to stop trying to be NRS's baby sitter on this topic. They are learning and they can balance by themselves.
