IDK if i'd say reliable. I feel like they're quick to post sensationalism and hunt for views. I do kind of believe the rumors because it seems with leaks about Capcom fighting games are based in some truth. But this one (MvC4) would be a really huge surprise either way.

Polygon is one of those sites that try to be really intelligent about games but they come off a little bit on the uninformed side at times. It's like if you got your really smart friend to write editorials about videogames but they don't really like games that much. Some of their articles are really good, but others I disagree with 100%. When it comes to news, I expect them to do their research and vet their sources though. That's why I'm surprised they posted that. They must have a reliable source at Sony, Capcom, Marvel or Disney.
