I love tweedy, but you cant put yourself in a position to get burned like that. i wouldnt be a randie at tweedys feet if i didnt try to spice this for the god

Wonder if this will help stifle the Cryo Sub downplay train any.

It's always the same argument too, "you can block OS all of his ticks". Ok, keep thinking you're escaping pressure for free when your opponent is changing timings, strings, peppering in throws. Not to mention just like Sub in each variation, his corner game is solid.

I'm surprised Jason didn't get worse with armor's diminished role. If his whole game is breaking that shit and the most significant armor has all but been eradicated, what keeps him so strong?

And I'm not implying he sucks or anything ridiculous like that, just legitimately wondering how he's still top 5 good in a game that just allegedly underwent a witch hunt of the very thing against which he excels.

Good normals,good tick throws, a plus on block overhead and safe low, and a crazy good poke. That's probably why plus he's probably the best grappler since he forces you to block

the thing about punishing it in the heat of the moment isn't a legit reason in my opinion. that only applies to moves where you have one or two frames to punish which hellsparks isn't one of. regarding ex hellsparks at the end, that's match up dependent there's characters who can get a punish regardless of what shinnok does (ex: predator low lazer) i believe most of the cast can get a punish as a read too. this is just regarding the third hit though and the reason i think this matters so much is sonic's reasoning in saying shinnok is the best in the game is his neutral control which is based around hellsparks in all variations. the fact that character's can completely shut this down is pretty bad IMO

and you punish him by how much exactly? 10%? and that's not counting he can mb all the 3 hits as he please and build a shit ton of meter while doing it. the risk / reward just inst in your favour everytime he has a bar (pretty much always). Also shutting down something means that he's not able to throw out that move safely, not that he can get punished by 10/13% lol, it's a joke.
