As we know, there are things that are general to any fighting game and also specific ones.
And I just wanted TYM community to tell what is considered as a "disrespect" in terms of MKX in particular and in terms of any fighting game in general.

- Playing top tier
- Playing bottom tier and winning.
- Not playing the way the opponent wants you to play.
- Having your own opinion on anything trending on TYM without jumping a bandwagon.
- Jumping a bandwagon- according to the other bandwagon.
Pretty much anything because TYM is full of special snowflake spoiled children.

My advice: Play the game, play to win, ignore whining.

I am never around to see it. But if im in player matches and for whatever reason i dont respect the opposition. Ill be winning the 5th or more game in a row. If its a flawless or almost flawless ill get them in some predator trap confirm, ermac hang or soul ball, sub zero freeze, some move of the sort. Then let them have a quitality win.

What i consider disrespectful:

• when Players Tbag.

• When players On Mic Blame everything they are doing wrong on Lag or other things, complaining about the game while in match.

• A player telling you what you are doing is Cheap like Spamming or a certain tactic, i am trying to have fun not hear someone act like a child, i just want to have a good competative m,atch.

• winning a round and Opponent sends you MAil saying your a scrub because they are mad you beat them.

• When X Player throws his Controller at a Major and makes the community look bad. Childish Behavior. and Very disrespectful.

• Winning a match and Telling opponent they are Bad.

• When your opponent plays you till they win once then goes to Next Opponent or Main Menu.

• When your opponent loses and they turn off system so they don't get a bad score.

• if your opponet loses and does not say GGs after you are done. its poor manners

What pretty much everyone said constitutes disrespect. However, also realize that some people consider anything they don't like disrespectful. This is the FGC.

I don't teabag my opponents or 'style' on them. Whether they're bad, whether they're good, whether they've annoyed me it doesn't matter. I just play the same. Do I mind if they do? Nope. Do I teabag them back if they teabag me? Nope. But that's just me. That's not "how it should be." That's just me.


In spite of this I have been called disrespectful and have received numerous death threats. It's the FGC bro. Your opponent will always find something to spite you with regardless of your respect towards him/her.

Apparently I'm not even 'disrespectful' for 'spamming' optimal combos anymore. I've gone past that, transcending above my peers through rigorous vigilance and am now Dante son of Sparda.

I one up you sir, the greatest thing is tbagging when you're sure you're gonna lose, then suddenly making a comeback. Similar thing but slightly better. Bonus points if you're winning the set free, get close to losing a match then just comeback anyway.

-The change stance dance (P.S. - They should change this worthless button to a taunt specific to every char)
-Jumping over you back and forth on finish him/her screen
-Playing player matches and leaving after one match if they won/playing until they are finally above on win count then leave super fast
-Finding a match on player match and the fucker went AFK beating his dick somewhere...
-Finding a match and people are too scared to accept the challenge

The best thing like others have said with a slight tweak from me is when you make a glorious comeback from a major life deficit after they have been teabagging you. (they have damn near full health and you are just about dead... I play relentless Jason and this is when I get a major passive dmg buff. Especially after making awesome reads. its so funny to watch their health just melt with even the most basic combo/cmd grab)

To add icing to the cake, what I do is do red screen or killing machine when they are just about dead, then if I have enough life with killing machine active, ill run right up to them, let them try their combo and teabag right in their mother fucking face and then finish the round.

I think the type of disrespect you're referring to is for example:

Someone ignoring their opponents capabilities in order to do something hilariously risky just because they are confident that their opponent would fall for it, even though they shouldn't.

They disregard the opponent's strong options, they don't respect what the opponent can do.
