Man I wish SF 5 was like MKX where you can pick a different character after every match. That's dumb.
patience is what separates most silver/gold players from platinum ones. Honestly if you're good at this game you can stand in place and people will kill themselves trying to get at you.So so far my choices I have made for myself, I just realized, are a patient intensive grappler. A zoner/rushdown hybrid that also requires a ton of patience. A jack of all trades master of most frame trapping monster. A space control grappler zoner thing with booger flicking technology (also patience driven) it sounds like patience is important in this game xD looks like my MKX characters will help me to a degree in this game.
Agreed. Is it just me that thinks that in SF 5 if you're a beginner like me you can actually tell when you play against someone? As opposed to mk x where due to the mechanics and 50/50's even beginners can look "ok"? I'm not saying SF is better because I honestly LOVE both the same but I just get that impression. I guess what im trying to say is that in SF if you're a noob it shows more clearly than in MK.
It's the struggle I've been a part of since day one. All the pitchforks and torches because Mika happens to make you guess after you get exposed in neutral. While Birdie over there playing that fake ass neutral and getting away with more mixup options.all these fucking classless top tiers. Makes a mika player sad.
What do you think @The Slaj JazzIs it just me that thinks that in SF 5 if you're a beginner like me you can actually tell when you play against someone? I agree
Disagree. In MKX I can usually tell within 10 to 20 seconds if someone is completely new or doesn't know how to play that character.I guess what im trying to say is that in SF if you're a noob it shows more clearly than in MK.
10 seconds in MK is usually their opening jump in and a 50/50. Not sure how you can tell off just that.Disagree. In MKX I can usually tell within 10 to 20 seconds if someone is completely new or doesn't know how to play that character.
That's even if they do a 50/50. You guys are talking about noobs so they're not going to know the optimum combos or setups into stuff.10 seconds in MK is usually their opening jump in and a 50/50. Not sure how you can tell off just that.
I swear I was about to say that, especially since jump-ins are free in MKX mostly. But @Aramonde i respect your opinion.10 seconds in MK is usually their opening jump in and a 50/50. Not sure how you can tell off just that.
i don't think we're talking about complete novices that don't know the buttons. We're just talking about the average online warrior. That's even if they do a 50/50. You guys are talking about noobs so they're not going to know the optimum combos or setups into stuff.
What do you mean. You select your character, accept a match, match ends, you can select a different character after.Man I wish SF 5 was like MKX where you can pick a different character after every match. That's dumb.
Why would anyone complain about Nash in this particular set? You weren't abusive IMO. He didn't AA your raw v trigger once.hey lionheart... i mean u guise i ran into Spawnof Odd again but this time with the pride of tym's Nash
complained about Nash for around 10 minutes after it was over lul
He said we're all imitating Infiltration by dashing in neutral and doing feints often or something and should get our own styleWhy would anyone complain about Nash in this particular set? You weren't abusive IMO. He didn't AA your raw v trigger once.
If anything, he tried to abuse certain stuff that Alex has and was spamming cr.mp a lot. That sure wasn't clean on his part. I'm surprised to see a Nash player who doesn't jump around all the time, spam mk.scythe, cr.mk and dash in / dash out.
GGs.
What a scrub, tbh...He said we're all imitating Infiltration by dashing in neutral and doing feints often or something and should get our own style
Like im supposed to use my walkspeed to get literally anywhere as Nash lul Lionbae
I mean he kinda plays like a bum but he's a nice guy it's prob salt talkingWhat a scrub, tbh...
Actually, Alex is +15 after any power bomb. His dash is 19f and his parry is active on frame 2. Taking into account that Nash's super is 10f start up, even if you did a reversal CA he still would've parried it.lul i almost forget to post this comeback i got bodybagged forgive me lionbae
always spend the meter u guise
dont do the wrong meaty setup u guise
and dont miss reversal timing on wakeup super to catch the forward dash since alex shouldn't have recovered in time to get chipped out but thats none of my business 8fs or something lul
