Back from my driving lessons... I wanted to ask you guys about that "big news for MKX" that Boon tweeted about some time ago, did that ever happen?
I remember EVO had no announcement from NRS regarding MKX.

The tweets from back when he was vaguely hinting at PC support. I think the $500,000 was the prize money for some tourney, but also could've been taken as PC sales. I think everyone would agree that charging the regular $20 for KP2 would be a slap in the face. MKX's low Steam numbers show that no one really cares anymore, with the more hardcore fans moving to consoles. It's interesting to see more hints at PC support, but the lack of any communication has really ruined NRS/WB's reputation in many people's eyes.

It feels like KI is the most solid fighter on PC if you don't include the anime titles. Unfortunately, suffers from being XB1/Windows10 exclusive. SFV ended up becoming somewhat of a failure due to Capcom's ridiculous DLC pricing (nothin new here).

Also one improvement I'd like to see on the PC version IF we ever get any, is that the benchmark that you have to take for you to play online, forces you to lower settings if you do not have a steady 60 fps.
So no more online play with people that have 30fps or lower cuz they can't read the minimum requirements.

An obligatory benchmark was put in place but instead of forcing ppl to lower settings it just gave them a red,yellow or green marker that was intended to let other players about your current fps.
Never liked that solution, because the marker would display the wrong color ,just like the ping bars, so you never knew if the match was smooth or not.

Oh man that would be sick!!!! KI & SF have cross platform so i could see them doing it. Fuck now you got me excited! (usually a bad thing when its WB/NRS )

^This I agree THOROUGHLY. After reading and hearing the reviews and comments of anybody who used Windows 10, I held back and I'm stuck in Windows 7. I won't go to any broken merchandise Microsoft creates. I'm not an idiot to go there willingly without proper investigation.

I only hope that Valve will release Steam OS to get rid of the Windows.

I understand why a lot of people hate Win10 because the way Microsoft has been forcing it on PC's and the stupid amount of background shit going on it. I do have it installed and I'm fine with it also KI is flawless on it, not that I play it or anything

The background isn't the only problem. I did read about problems with a lot of games that are NON-Win10 exclusive. Check Steam games that aren't loading properly as an example.

Speaking about background, I like Win7, only if it's the dark version. The boxes the background gives are horrible. The words are enough for the Windows. We don't need the icons to recognize which is which.

I play on 1.13c, I never had issues with compatibility or other crap. Altough I`m sad this game is so dead :/

Same, I've had no major issues with Windows 10 Home myself, and quite like it. I waited about 9 months to upgrade to let various issues get worked out, and so far so good. Note I did a clean install, not an upgrade of my existing OS.

The rumour mill going around is that Blizzard Entertainment is working on "remastered" versions of Diablo II and Starcraft. If that proves to be true, that would likely breath life into the game.

I would love to see the original Diablo get remastered. I'm already fed up with Diablo II and later.

I'd also love to see the original get remastered, though the rumour I heard was specifically for Diablo II.

Of course, just a rumour so who knows!

There is D1 HD mod. It is named belzebub. It adds open gl support and quests cut from final release, such as map of the stars, andariel (she was going to be in d1, there is even gillian the barmaid voice dialogue Talking about her).

I highly suggest this mod. It is truly D1 HD and more.

Where can I purchase this? I wanna remember my retro days. I used to play this, and finished it. This was truly a very hard game, if you consider the difficulty with the dungeons.

Very cool. One thing I haven't tried yet, as I've only had Windows 10 Home since April, is playing older games that have lower than 800x600 resolution; Windows 10's minimum.

How would you get around this, as Diablo is 640x480.

First 34mb file i believe, u need d1 installed.

Tchernobog is version with online play, but i am not sure about it's stability.

I gotta proudly add, that author of this mod, Noktis, is Polish. He also made famous Awakening mod.

I've had no issues playing older games on Windows 10. I was even able to get Civilization II working with no issues, and that's technically a DOS game! I think the oldest game I play from Steam is Knights of the Old Republic, and it works fine.
