I remember someone asking Ed that via twitter and him saying "it was a long way off" or something im trying to find the actual tweet but i cant for some reason...

Injustice to be honest is not really NRS´s call to make. Injustice is mostly a publicity medium for anything WB comic related... i also heard that back when KP1 was being released that they had already started prep work for Injustice 2, selecting roster and all that... i could see WB delaying this in wait for its Cinematic universe to expand a little further so they can more properly use the roster they will undoubtedly select for NRS... we will have to see but im sure we will hear something about it closer to the end of the year for sure.

He could mean today. Maybe there will be an announcement of some sort later tonight? Or rather, an announcement of an announcement (sorta like what they did with KP2 - post a teaser of something then give us a date for the full reveal)?

The updates have been going on for awhile now, but this is the first thing in a couple of weeks. I think most of us PC dogs were starting to think there isn't much to it, but there is still some hope as long as changes are happening.

I'm not sure there is anything to tie this to the tweet though. Of course there isn't much of anything to tie to the tweet as it's pretty much lacking indicators of any kind.

I'd have thought that E3 would have more viewers than ESL since iirc ESL viewership has went down each year? I don't even know. I don't know where to find the stats on that. I thought it was 100k+ viewers then it went to like 60k views

With MKX they announced the game a week before e3 then showed gameplay at e3 itself.

In a perfect world they would announce a mini Kombat Pack containing Noob and Jade along with a PC release of XL at ESL.

And then Injustice 2 at E3.
