All too easy...
Guiles booms are feeling a little ice cloney right now, either you can deal with them easily or you cant and its a struggle. Up close Guile is feeling kind of average, I thought his buttons were good at first but lots of other characters have far better ones

Yeah guile is maybe at the bottom of top tier or high mid. I just don't see why everyone is calling him the best because he gets good damage off of v trigger.

Hell if you watch desk's new video on Guile, his slow boom was slower in sf4 and EX faster. They also recovered quicker in SF4 lol

Anyway. Like I said I think he's decent.

PS. Calling it right now. Every DLC character will either be seen as worse or best in game upon release.

Also I have no idea why people are just now getting pissed about the input lag, that should have been adressed the second it was known. I had no idea that was actually what was going on when I held up to get out of a random dolphin dive and it wouldnt do it in time, or why you have to tech throws on a read instead of reaction, or why I keep fucking up meaties, or why nash can dash grab you and you cant even deal with it on reaction... I feel like everything that is annoying the hell out of me about the game can be solved by removing the input delay, like thats just insane that street fighter of all games is going to punish those with a safer more reactionary playstyle and reward people for just doing stuff on offense. Feels like MKX sometimes with that shit, needs to be fixed asap

8 motherfucking frames lol, that is so much delay for a game like this, the game is so much more fast paced than 4 and then theres this so you cant even deal with the shenanigans properly. Fucked up

I can't reversal/punish with my 3f tatsu and it makes me rage sometimes, especially when I need that punish to create space etc.

sounds like you're just projecting your short comings, because i'm sure the 4 extra input lag frames above an average fg is to blame for you not "reacting to throws"

tbh the delay doesn't bother me as much as the rollback does. I've been getting a lot of bad ones lately where we're both basically teleporting everywhere lol

....or Im pissed that I just found out everything I do is delayed even offline? Combos, punishes, anti airs, footsies... all delayed. Makes everything in the neutral more read based (aka guess based) which to me is the oppoesite of what SF neutral should be. Now Im not saying I have godlike reactions, because I dont, but Im a visual player. Im constantly looking for visual cues before I do something, and since I now have to react to all of that faster and press the corresponding button earlier it makes basically everything harder for me and anyone else that plays that way. An 8 frame delay is the difference between me punishing with cr.lp xx flashkickxxsuper or me missing the cr.lp punish and having to cancel into flashkick anyway and now I get punished with a full crush counter combo.

Please do not act like this does not effect everything in the game just because you like to get away with the occassional murder and then call people scrubs. If 8 frames makes no difference then why not just bump it up to 30 frames of delay and you can dash up grab all you want

the game has 8 frames of delay, we know, welcome to 2015. what are you mad about, something you couldn't even realize playing yourself for at least 3 months or did you not know most fighting games have input delay? 8 frames is crazy but after 3 months of playing i'm sure you're used to it and blaming being unable to react tech on that is obnoxious delau or not
