Match Footage - Mileena Mileena Match Videos

As I mentioned in another thread, I'm starting to toy with Ethereal Mileena to help with high pressure characters.

After tinkering in Practice, I did a few best of five sets against the Hard AI. I'm not good at the EX Fade kombos at all yet, and am more focusing on Fade and Ex Fade for spacing, defence, and mind games (the later of which you can't really do against the AI, of course).

Just some sets I had online trying out unknown matchups. Lag Ermac is a bitch to fight, but I started to figure some things out.
Anyway, not exactly my sharpest play, but fuck it. I'll put it here.

Haven't watched your matches yet, but Ermac is so difficult for me Online. I actually don't think I've beaten one yet...

here's a set i played with one of my online partners on PC @Kickbykick.

i understand the gist of ethereal, but it's not yet completely comfortable. there were some missed combo opportunities off of ex fades, unoptimized combos, and various input errors. tips/suggestions would be appreciated.

I don't think you need any tips you play very well in fact I subscribed to your channel and saved you video so I can watch it back! Very good gameplay well done, you play Ethereal very skillfully!

Where can I find some decent\good Ravenous matches to watch? Youtube or Twich users maybe? So far my search results are only poor mashfests in ranked. Tournament players pick only Piercing somehow.

Any of Saltface's early tournament matches or Johnny San if any of his are on YT.

Sometimes with some online connections, punishing the telekick and roll is impossible with the only things able to punish them is grab or d2.

Hi all,

This past Thursday I did a really great set with a buddy of mine. It's long, so match up breakdowns here:

00:07 - Master of Storms Raiden vs Piercing Mileena
04:35 - Heavy Weapons Jax vs Piercing Mileena
14:01 - Demolition Sonya Blade vs Piercing Mileena
37:10 - Demolition Sonya Blade vs Assassin Kitana
39:55 - Demolition Sonya Blade vs Royal Storm Kitana
53:27 - Demolition Sonya Blade vs Ravenous Mileena

This was the first serious Versus set I've ever done with Piercing Mileena, as those of you who know me know I'm a Ravenous main. I must say I really am very impressed with Piercing's B1, 2. The extra zoning with Low Sai was quite helpful as well. Overall I felt very confident with her, and in control of the matches and their general pacing.

Regardless, he clearly had trouble with my Piercing Mileena, so after winning 10 matches I switch to Kitana, my secondary character.

My Online Kitana blows :(, so moving on...

I then went to Ravenous Mileena, and his Demolition Sonya Blade and I seem to be pretty evenly matched. With Ravenous Mileena I was finding it harder to open him up. I'm also not sure what I could have done in the very final round of the very last match at the very end.

Feedback would be most welcome, both on that situation and overall.

Enjoy the set!

Can you reversal roll through his light and dark changes?
Tight ethereal btw

The Yankees blew a 3-0 lead in the 2004 ALCS.
Would appreciate any critique on these games. Haven't played too much in a bit so I had some odd input errors here and there but finally getting back into it with this new online. I'll probably be posting matches here a bit from now on so hoping to improve with you guys' advice.

Pretty nervous being on stream so excuse the drops. As MKX being the first game I've taken seriously, I'm just happy I kept up in this match. Getting better. Went ultra conservative after dropping things early. Starts at the 9:30 mark:

Got matched up against this random last night (Versus Player) and had a fun best of five set. I've always found Online Ermac a challenging match up, and the lag wasn't too bad for Online, so this was an enjoyable set.

Hey all, below are links to the stream archive of a tournament I took part in this past weekend. I would like it if you guys can watch and critique my play. I did some questionable decision making in some matches but aside from that, I think I did alright.

@A F0xy Grampa sure grabs ALOT!!!! lol a guess been a Kung Loa player and all its comes over naturally playing with Mileena... but I think he handled the alien match-up pretty well. Seems like you will have to keep Alien out as much as possible cuz he is good up close. Have to be mindful of zoning too much cuz of alien's ex pounce and that tail of his reaches like 3/4 of the screen (dafuq) and hits low .. Plus @HoneyBee adapted very well to the matchup - baiting ex roll doing 2 rekkhas jumping in with the flip style to beat Mileena anti air.. Good games guys. Learnt alot

Yo Gab, I'll take a look and if I feel like I have good advice to offer I'll do an analysis vid. I've been doing this for the Australian guys lately but no ones been sending me vids lately haha.
