Pterodactyl

Plus on block.
He has 5 hidden Brutalities.

Aftershock's dd1 is like Pred's self destruct but with a lot more reward and very little risk. Finding optimal setups for it atm.

f12 seems the best in terms of close distance right now but I'm sure I'll find something better maybe. I've had very little lab time.

Of course they can try to roll and jump(mid screen), or try to armor their way out, but reacting accordingly isn't a problem.

Of course timing db2d2 is the real meat here, as it creates a near-unblock able.

Aftershock dd1 is interesting. strict timing on connecting db3, but the timing is such that if you get it instantly, you'll have a simultaneous overhead low, and the damage scaling is good there.

I wouldnt use Earthshake without enhancing it

even off a f3 you can still punish normal Earthshake, the startup is insane

Note to self, 2 is a mid LOL! I was getting so annoyed with getting poked out of my offense after landing a d1 or d4. Good to know that's his fastest mid.

I assume the people saying Tremor has no pressure havent even looked into DB1 cancels yet. Im testing it out now and it makes his unsafe strings all safe.
You misunderstand the character. The primary issue is not safety. b+1,2 is safe on block, but b+1 starts up in 19 frames. f+1,2,1 is also safe, but the first hit hits high and is thus highly vulnerable to low pokes. From my experience, Tremor has problems checking blocked low pokes. Which mid attack do you use?

Remember when Dave thought Zod was Medicore at best early on? And that before the nerfs lol
I am not the only who believes Tremor is mediocre. I will list my reasons shortly and you are more than welcome to invalidate them. I have no agenda. I want Tremor to be good.

Am I the only one that thinks Crystalline is going to be the go to variation? setups into hard knockdowns that end with armor. also if you ex it the armor stays longer i believe so you have time for oki and setplay

You cant get unblockables in this game. If they both hit instantly they will both whiff. But more than likely it;ll just be a hard to blockable(going from Low to OH really quickly or OH to L really quickly).

Poopbutt.
The amount of fucking up your opponent has to do so that you can get both dd1 AND db3 out at the same time is a very very high amount. Tremor doesn't have any special cancelable hard knockdowns that I'm seeing, so getting dd1 out safely by itself is a chore as it is.

Something I noticed while testing him out. Somehow, the opponent won't take damage from dd4 on wakeup, even though it's unblockable? I could totally be noobish and not understanding how wakeup/unblockables work, but doesn't seem like it should

Unblockables in this game won't hit standing frames or grounded unless they're meterburned like Goro's, Kotal's, and now Tremor's. So just do EX dd4 and you'll hit them if they're on the ground.

Ive been using 21D4U4 as my mid string and main pressure string. Tremor is definitely more difficult to use than our previous dlc character Tanya was at her launch but Im not going to jump the gun, hes clearly a character with a lot to learn

Ah ok. I figured it was something I wasn't understanding.
