In my opinion, it's going to get nerfed. No character in the game should have a 80% combo, and NRS will probably fix the damage scaling. Although not impossible, the situation is not as practical in a real match, especially now that Sonya got buffs on her ex moves, there's incentive to actually use meter in a combo. Regarding the 80% x-ray combo, execution is pretty tough too, and the spacing is tricky. Took me a bunch of tries to get it just right. Might want to skip the last part and just settle for an easier combo which will still end up being in the low 70s% in a real match.
I think it's a good plan to have going into round 2 or 3, but it shouldn't be your main game plan. I'd trade these buffs in any day for something more practical, like faster grenade loading time even if it's just a few frames, +frames on block strings pressure mixed with grenades, or fixing b332 mid hit box. I guess enjoy it while it lasts. Even after the damage scaling, that 80% combo will probably be around 60-70% (remember KJ's and D'vorah's nerfs? low 40s became high 30s, and 50s became mid 40s), which is more than enough to close out a round or come back from a huge life deficit.
