I understand how it works, and playing mostly quan chi and impostor shinnok, she actually doesn't scare me that mutch. by no means I wanted to say that she is overpowered, but I can understand why people find her so frustrating to fight against. now, if people don't know that you have to crouch to go in, it's their fault because they did not inform themselves on the mutchup. If someone knows how evade the gun zoning on the other hand, with someone like Iran-84 that clearly isn't good at all, I think that you should safely jump in on her. does that sound so wrong to you? that's my point, altho I honestly NEVER played against a full-auto jaqui without a char that can evadde her zoning or even punish it.
The absolute simplest answer is learn a character that can get around her zoning. There are ALOT of choices...
Scorpion can punish it with his teleport.
Sub Zero can slide under it.
Mileena can punish it with her teleport kick.
Kitana can outzone her.
Kenshi can beat her to the punch in any of his variations with specials.
Takeda in Shirai Riu has a teleport and an angled aerial projectile.
Jax can use his Ground Pound to beat it out.
Both Kungs have dive kicks.
Kano can match it in terms of speed by throwing knives.
Erron Black can slide underneath of it.
Ermac can teleport punish it.
Reptile can slide underneath it.
D'Vorah can beat it out in Swarm Queen.
Raiden can teleport behind and punish in displacer.
Quan Chi can outzone her.
Goro can Air Stomp to punish it.
Shinnok can outzone her.
So, who has trouble with it?
Liu Kang - although you can probably match up by spamming low fireballs.
Kotal Khan - I use EX sunbeam to slow the chip and try to time a jump in. You only need to land one to get 40%.
Sonya - Once you get in, isn't it over?
Ferra/Torr - ???
Cassie - EX Pistol to exchange and try to jump in?
I just don't understand what anyone's problem is.
