Srsly regret not switching over to PS4
It's sad that the Xbox one is so shit in comparison, the 360 was a decent console, once they'd stopped imploding. I also wish I'd swapped over to the PS4, I don't even use the Xbox's additional features, would rather have a games console at this point. :/

Edit: Figured I should clarify, games console as in pure console, none of this "home hub entertainment system" bs.

Maybe he means to clear the cache?

Though I have no idea how to do that on Xbox One. These damn menus are so non user friendly. I miss the 360 dashboard. lol

Hold the power button until it turns off clears the cache. I do wish the option was still in storage though.

Also I've found that I don't encounter it as often late at night, but it still happens. Prime time I have to sit at "conneting Online" every time.

I have both. PS4 is mainly for fighting games and the xbone for all 3rd party games. I did it that way because I like that on the xbone you can install and play games off of an external hard drive. On the ps4 you can only play games off the internal drive, so you have to open it up and reinstall the ps4 os to expand from a 500 GB drive to a 2 TB drive. I still prefer the xbox to the ps4 though.

You can alse clear you cache on the xbone if you switch to power save mode. This way it fully shuts down the xbox everytime you turn it off.

strange thing is i removed my xbox from home then set it back it worked fine for maybe 4 games then back to same BS jesus save us from this pain

Is there a Dev we can tag that would take this networking issue seriously? When this started happening to me I didn't attempt to get any support from WB, their forums, or twitter because I figured it would just get lost in the "Netplay sucks!" noise.

Is it really that bad now? I haven't played online in weeks since the Witcher 3 came out
Off topic: Are you having that much fun with Witcher 3? The recycled faces destroy the immersion for me. How can I really be immersed when the guy that just died is there talking to me, with a different name? Also, the combat system gets old pretty fast. Even on the hardest difficulty (Death march?) I forget, anyway, even on the hardest difficulty, Quen becomes the only really worthwhile sign to use and it pretty much carries the game. :/

I like the game but I'm horrible at the combat lol. I think I try to attack and kill people too fast lol

Like if it's one on one... I can parry/counterattack every attack but when it's multiple... I constantly get hit trying to parry.

There was an XBOX update around the exact same time you mentioned this new problem. Could have something to do with it. But, Online in this game is totally unacceptable regardless, even at it's best it's laughable. [Or cryable, I made up a word]

Yea I wish there was someone who can see this and get it fixed asap

Don't want to derail the thread but, if you aren't already, stick with the dodge instead of the roll, and upgrade Quen at least once to get the knock back, that should help a lot. After that it's just timing.

i agree its really sad im the biggest mk fan boy i planed to play mkx for 2 or 3 years but its grinding on me now im still trying to get through connect screen

I've also been having troubles with my DLC lately, like sometimes Jason isn't available, and other times the MK1 skins aren't available, and now Tanya isn't available. Reinstalling works but then it just goes away again in a few hours, annoying as fuck

I own both consoles and so far I have noticed that the lag on Xbox one is WAY worse than on PS4. I probably only have one in ten matches on PS4 with anything more than nominal lag.

Well i am not playing on the hardest difficulty, so I still find the other signs have their uses. I'm sorry you aren't having as great of an experience man

this thread needs as much support as possible the quicker NRS will get ther stuff together
Wish that were true. As if the thousands of Tweets, YouTube videos, and Twitch live complaints weren't enough. The prior to release embargo was a success in hiding this unacceptable online from the public until initial sales of MKX and premium were over with, mission accomplished. 90% of MKX players have since forfeited there efforts of rightfully so, complaining about this disgrace of an online fighting game experience, another mission completed. NRS/WB knew the online input lag/connectivity issues would occur long before release, as it's being run on the exact same servers that corrupted MK9 and INJ. Might even be worse now due to the faction stats taking account of even all offline players in real time, as if they were online. They also knew the general consensus and feedback would be bad. But what's done is done, or how's the saying go... A deal's a deal.

Their job is done, best MK sales to date. Spending money on quality servers will not sell many more copies, as the reviews have already been written and all MK fans have already made their purchase. Spending money on marketing and Offline tourneys to keep the game looking good to thousands of new viewers who will soon find out the hard way, is where their efforts now lay.

MK9 and INJ were exactly the same, and never improved. They are veterans off this process, and have it down to a science. How to sell a broken product, and do it well. I do admire their cunning, and marketing powerhouse tactics though. Laughing all the way to the bank.

God I hope they fix this soon, I don't think I even got 10 games in total with @STB Hellbringer before it lagged me out of the session, connections usually fine as well so I don't get why it did it

We aren't complaining about the actual in-game latency (what networking scrubs call "netcode"). The issue is connecting to online before any match happens and it's a new issue that just began on Friday. You really should read the thread before you muddy the waters with your rant.

Stated prior to my rant...

Not that that will help fix anything, wish I could offer something that would actually help this waiting to connect problem.

Peace.
