Can we culminate a list of moves b1 can punish? Gotta get used to using back 1, since it's only 1 frame slower than the all purpose 1,1,1

I feel you... It's def a nerf... I also feel bad for missing your local win since I've been following you a lot. I hope 16 bit is right and f1 great other wise I'm gonna drop her.. Let's get loud like the kenshi community

I still think she needs a faster start up on her overhead, hard knockdown or not.

I won't get to play until tomorrow night so I can't really give a solid opinion on everything else. Still feels like she'll get blocked for the entire match though.

I just want my princess to be feared again.

I'm gonna try but you know, having guys like PPJ, Dizzy and the lot...
...these things fade quickly. My offense starts to feel underwhelming against Noobe, Deg, Gross, Big D and the guys.
No one cares about eating the 3 in b1,4,3 or b1,4~fan. and our normals are ass, even counterpoking sucks and....

Lol...no, you had it right in the first rant. Dont fall for the faux optimism. B1 is 9f, great...you still have to be bumping chests with your opponent.

F1 has better range? I bet it's still -35. So stupid.

Until we get faster, longer reaching, and SAFE normals, she will never be viable. Sorry, I love Kitana just as much but I'm also not delusional. Do you guys still not want F2 to be an overhead? We need the mixups...

At high level no one will be jumping around against Kit. Take away her air fan conversions and what are you left with?

Meanwhile, Tanya has 5050's everytime she leaves the ground...lol. Ugh.

That "buff" is essentially the death knell. It just shows that they have no intention of seriously enhancing her pokes, strings, or buffing any of her defensive options. Fuck you, Pig. You could have at least let the Princess ride your coattails to the promised land.

Seems logical adjustements are way over their head.

1) adjust D1 with faster startup and less block disadvantage (-10 on block is not ok, sorry)
2) F2 overhead (when you get to see Tanya's incredible moveset, now I have no shame to ask for this)
3) Parry and Reflect adjustements (no brainer here, but still not patched to become useful)
4) Sharpen no longer on a timer, but based on a number of moves (ex : sharpen lasts for 5 fan moves, EX sharpen for 8) so that it becomes viable

At the very least. All of these.

And if NRS feels like they owe us a cherry on top of all this for maining Kitana despite the character being a joke :

1) EX lift gains armor
or
2) EX rising fans can be cancelled into float for combo starter possibilities

so that her wakeup game becomes something to consider when mixing her up in the corner of death. Right now, it's 10+% into neutral game. Nobody cares about her Wake up :)

edit : oh and B1,4 back to 0 on block ... what the hell were they thinking ?

b+1,4~ground fan has no gap and is safe against most characters. If they let go of block to poke or break the throw they'll eat the fan and you get advantage. Not too bad. The only thing that sucks is if they want to armor they can let go of block, do the armor move and go back to blocking and they won't be hit by the ground fan if you did that and they'll armor if you did a throw or a move. You can beat that by completing the string though.

so b14 is now a means for conditioning? I kind of see where your going with this but at a high level I'm not sure how this will stack up, but I believe in you bit lol

Heads up!
I'm satisfied with the changes in the hotfix. It's not like b12 and b14 are punishable. B1 being 9 frames is great. Steps in a better direction for us.


Also, any extra damage from ending in rising fan now? Just a random thought

I'm still holding out for more buffs. They've tweaked her twice, so she's clearly on their radar. We all know the inevitable "big" patch is still coming, so we'll just have to wait and see.

However, if her negative d1, slow f2, and basically unusable parry and reflect stay the same.... well, GGs princess.

Now that mileena, kenshi, Takeda got puffed. She unquestionably the worst in the game.
Yes she got buffed. And they are pretty decent buffs. But the fact that kenshi CORE game play got buffed and our didn't doesn't seem fair. Were a zoning character but our up close game got buffed. It will help her a lot but eh.

I won a local just like 16 Bit so its not the only tourney won by a Kitana player...and after CEO she is dead to me. Why the fuck would you nerf b1,4?
I think we got lucky! b14 is plus 1 on block not -4 as announced. Unless the frame data is totally jacked.
