What do you mean? You can run in B3/B1 on knockdown or any +on hit. All the variations are useful in their own way.

You're entitled to your opinion but as was stated before don't post mis-information.

You can absolutely set up a 50/50 outside the corner with run cancels after plus frames or on hard knockdowns.

Cutthroat gets overall better damage than cyber without Buff. Cutthroat has a mid screen that clocks in at 39% for one bar off f212, no buff. And in the corner Cutthroat again out damages cyber with no buffs. I know it's possible to get close to Cutthroat with cyber in the corner but those combo's are more difficult and sacrifice positioning or frames. At least the ones I've seen and done myself. And don't forget you have no mix up in cyber unlike the other two variations. If I'm wrong please feel free to educate me with what you use.

I'm not saying Cyber is bad, it's great. Infact all his variation are very good for different reasons and each has their strengths.

You're talking about after a jump in with 112, which you won't get often. Midscreen, with one bar, Its 34-35. Off of b13, b31, b23, with meter the damage in Cyber is considerably less than what Cutthroat can do with meter.

Again, you can easily do a d4, run, do b1 or b2. You just need to know your spacing. You have just successfully set up and executed your 50/50. Congratulations. Here's a cookie. They're fresh from the oven. You can also set up your 50/50 off f21 xx MB Knife Toss. Know your spacing and run cancel after since you're +9 or something like after the mb knife, and do b1/b3. Or do d4, f4 mb knife and go for your 50/50.

Or do f4 and use the hit advantage to run cancel into the 50/50. How many ways do you want to set this up????

Also, simply using Blade Slice on hit without meter can give you enough hit advantage for pressure. Use that to condition them to block and now you have another way to set up your 50/50 midscreen.

Knives are good across all variations. Cutthroat Kano can use his damage buff to actually increase the damage on his projectiles. So if you get a life lead you can walk back, use boost, and zone with knives that are doing more damage than normal.

Anytime you want to stop taking damage...turn off the boost. This isn't complicated stuff. The boost isn't just for combo damage.

Cutthroat does rely heavily on meter. I'll grant you that. In the right hands Cutthroat is just as solid as Commando or Cyber.

There's nothing about it in the patch notes, but Aris said on ATP that's he's had all 3 of his variations nerfed.
So other than b1 being -2 now, what else has happened?

Thats a universal thing. A lot of character's frame data changed. It's one of the first things in the patch notes.

Played a ton of hours offline with a few people in the house, and I must say I'm really not liking the new B1. Not because of the frames, but that "delayed recovery" on block really slows down the pressure. I would much rather they have made the frame adjustments but left the animations the way they were.

I just wish th just touched b1 and that's it why the hell do they have to slow down the recovery on all of his string wtf

I think what u meant to say was now all of his normals are super safe none of them are neutral anymore. Well most of them which imo really hurts Kano I'm not talking bout b1 btw

The buff makes a very noticeable difference in Cutthroat, EX or not and he does have 50/50s midscreen.

for real. Such a sick kostume pack, I literally picked up Cyber Kano last night because of it haha. Covert Ops Sonya looks dope with the Motherland skin and I'm pretty happy with Tundra Sub as well
