is anyone else surprised they didnt nerf Jason? that two low-overhead of his is arguably worse than anything kung jin could do
I'm not surprised, though I don't feel like it needs to be fixed. It's really one of his only good combo starters. Get hit by it enough times, and you'll eventually be blocking it forever, leaving Jason to have really no other "ins" to get anything started except for maybe a throw here and there.

Not sure about the sub nerfs now that I think about it, if it means that the clones go away after any blocked attack then he can never clone cancel against characters like Dvorah.

Yeah, okay. It is a glitch fix, it doesn't always go away on block. Sorry for the confusion (again).
 
Lol, I didn't even know F34 could be special canceled after a knockdown. What would be the use for that anyway?
The use was in corner combos. You could get mid forties meterless by using F34 during the juggle.

Whether it will hurt her or not depends on what they mean by "on knockdown". Does "on knockdown" mean the same as on hit? Does juggling count as "on knockdown"? We will find out soon enough.

Even if she loses the F43 corner combos, she can still easily get upper 30s without F43. I posted a couple of non-F43 corner combos that get around 38 or 39 meterless and are super easy to pull off, but they were largely ignored because of the F43 juggles getting bigger damage.
 
  • Shinnok – Away + 3 (Shin Kick) is now towards + 4 and he has a new away + 3 (Devious Heel)
  • Shinnok – Can now enhance Hell Sparks & Hell Blast on block.
  • Shinnok (Impostor) – Now steals Dash Punch from Jax instead of Ground Pound.
  • Shinnok (Necromancer) – Can now control the location of Judgment Smash & Judgment Fist.

SZ clone goes away on block now? Nerfed to the ground.. and wtf if the cooldown on clone now? 2 seconds AFTER it goes away on its own?

Cry > Level up.. its the best way to win.
Tom calm your titties. I think this is the glitch where the clone stops having the active hitbox.

I can guarantee you clones won't go away if Sub-Zero blocked a hit.

EDIT: Well... I don't know what to say... It does go away... I'm.... I...

....

Well...some of them are buffs.

We don't know the properties of his B3 yet.
He needs all three Sparks to hit more than he needs to be able to enhance it to be honest, he's already a huge meter spender.
Dash Punch is a huge nerf, at least in the Jax matchup. We could at least have the EX Overhead one so we can combo or just scaling on followups to the ground pound :( we already have a move that shoves the opponent full screen...
Being able to choose where you put DF4 or DB1 is cool I suppose but you still need meter to combo off of DF4 and it doesn't fix the tracking issues on his flick...I'd say that's more necessary. But we'll say how this plays out first, I don't want to speak too soon.

It's important to notice that, with the variation system, a character can be nerfed but buffed at the same time, i see people talking about Quan Chi being nerfed, but one of his variations just got a whole new move.
