The wake up system isn't bad as you have many different windows to get up that OP has to read
The 50/50 game is a lot better better designed in MKX. the problem was In IGAU The 50/50s where mostly Safe/High Dmg/unfuzzyable/ Meterless Vortex that you where only forced with 2 guesses most of the time, with no chance of Armour this in most cases seems to be more at the players risk to try the 50/50 then the opponents.
I was expecting the first few months people go for the most easiest cheapest safest little thinking way to win in this because they can take advantage of people not known what to do like they did with Black Adam and superman from IGAU.
But now we are seen people find block strings, frame traps, cancels,pressure, zoning, learning there characters range,etc all beginning to show a lot more, i see the 50/50s always being a good tool, better for some rather than others, but as i said we are already seen people graduate from less chancing and more meta and it will continue to grow.
On Topic this was a well made write up Dave very analytical and detailed good shit.
Sidenote: I always wondered why they didn't give chars that rely mostly on zoning Stamina drain properties, like imagine Kenshi EX force push drains the opponents Stamina and leaves it a slow recharge like breaker so Kenshi can then use his zoning tools more effectively. I wonder if a mechanic like that is possible to patch in since they already have some sort of code from the breaker system.
