So I just tried this and it worked. I think it only works if you have the Kombat Pack.

- Go to the in-game store and install Jason, he should be there.
- Go to practice, select any characters.
- While the match is loading, load up Netflix.
- Wait a few seconds, go back to MKX, the match should still be up.
- Select new players.
- Jason should be there. Using him now, feels pretty weird.

Uh, there are no categories.

I just pressed triangle, if that matters. Didn't select it manually.

He still comes up there for me, just tried it again.

Yea he pressed Triangle on main menu and under characters Jason is there for him but not for me im assuming this is how he got the character. Hes not on that menu for me only goro.

Any way to try this on PC? I don't see any new packs yet. Only "kombat pack" which is old and installed.

I think people had other ways to make him come up in Practice though, they might work too.

Location does matter. New Zealand got the game first. I think about 8 hours before my location. (Iowa, same time zone as Chicago)

Pretty sure America got it before us, or they were supposed to.

We were supposed to get it a day later than you, but then everybody started selling it a day early so it was pretty much the same.

Where there is smoke, there is cancer.
It says Jason is there for me and he's £0 because I have the pack but it gives me an error when trying to download him. Also, suspending MKX with Netflix made Jason and Tanya's sillouette appear in the character select screen.

Okay I got it working!

I went to the main menu and pressde triangle to go to the store. Then instead of trying to download Jason like I tried before, I downloaded the horror pack and then Jason added to my download and I followed the OP's instructions.

I'm on Xbox so probably won't work for me but I gotta say your avatar makes me really salty about that 40$ season pass.
