Lol wow, this fuckin thread went ham...

Shotgun is fuckin beast Idk what bullshit you're on if you think shotgun isn't good. I mainly like full auto for the up-rockets as Jacqui's anti-airs are lackluster from my experience so far :|

And even if we assume that only full auto is good why are you bitching? you must be on something if you thought that every variation for every character was gonna be good in the long run. The best feature that the variation system adds is that most if not all the cast will still be viable later in the game's lifespan even if it's only 1 variation. they must reeeally fuck up for a character to suck in all 3 variations.

Anyone that doubts Jacqui's shotgun variation will soon change their mind. Most people are sheep and wont take the time to try things out for themselves. But if people need proof , Sonics Fox plays Shotgun Jacqui exclusively and LOVES it. Not only does he gets up to 40% damage(1 bar) and very, very NASTY 50/50s. He wrecked havoc at a streamed tournament this weekend with her. You have to have good fundamental with the other 2 variations, thats why most think they're garbage and prefer full auto.

If I can't win with a var I'll win with another one.

I mean fuck that was the whole point of the variation system in the first place. HT SH FA I don't give a fuck.

Shotgun is still pretty nasty but keep in mind that it's based on 50/50s which is Sonicfox's bread and butter. If you play HT/FA like you play SH you'll probably end up on the losing side of things.

I see how you can play footsies with SH since that's also the core of her other two variants.

Unless you mean that Low Shot is strictly usable for combo extensions rather than the standing reset ender once you've already used it once. Keep in mind though I've mostly used HT.

Nah you've nailed it. I've been mostly SG so I have some experience.

I want to explore SG/FA more because I feel that'll be matchup specific.

For Cassie so far I'm going straight HT at this point.

The only buff I would ask for, if I even were to ask for one which I'm not, to Shotgun right now is that her Low Shotgun Blast be a little faster. That way it would be a solid whiff punisher from midscreen and would make it easier to land after, say, a B2~BF2. I don't feel like I have enough experience with Full Auto nor High Tech to even think about mentioning anything about them but learning them is on my list of to dos :)

@JustinXavier21 was telling me that High Tech is her best variation the other day though, I guess we'll find out if that's true or not soon enough.

High Tech most likely not her best variation. Most likely it's Full auto.

Don't sleep on HT - it's got shenanigans for sure.

d4 xx df2 frame traps, is safe and is a good defensive thing to have up your sleeve. Only thing they can do is armor through it.

also the cancels in HighTech can create GREAT pressure and rushdown. add in chip damage and an unblockable overhead and sweet corner damage, its a great option for Jacqui

Ground missile setup for Full Auto

Could likely run in with b2 instead at the end. Combine an overhead and low together.
