I'm afraid I don't follow. People are treating the variations as separate characters. The buffs and nerfs of one variation probably won't affect the buffs and nerfs of other variations. If Kung Jin's Bojutsu variation was S+++ tier, it wouldn't make any sense to say "but we've nerfed his Shaolin variation, so it all equals out".
Jacqui variations make her go from low tier to top tier. Some characters variations don't really matter at all.

It's alot damage if you don't look at how hard it is for her to get that 30% meterless.
It isn't hard, it just takes proper neutral play. Why does every character need to have huge damage and stupid mixup to be viable. @daddydab32ho I honestly have to at least disagree with at least shotgun not being viable. I haven't used a lot of high tech so idk about it tbh. Shotgun is really good for Jacqui against rushdown heavy characters due to the great space control and lack of need for meter. She always has a breaker/x-ray available and can play the neutral solid enough to make people respect her options and from time to time eat some pressure or a mixup. FA is by far the best variation, but SG has it's pros over it in situations.
 
i am having huge problem punishing people with Jacque

Her normals either have an incredible long start up or such a small hitbox that they cant his anything. Like 11, they got over a crouching opponent, and even if they dont he has to technically hug you in order to get hit.

12, pretty much the same problem, yes the 2 connect, but by the time it actually does since 1 is missing i will get hit by something else

33, fame data says its fast and safe... but god i eat up overcuts and jabs all day trying to use it

Most of the time i and up using b14 cause it moves her forwardso she can hit something, but is had a long startup.

When i get somebody in my face they can pretty much knock them self up cause i cant punish anything.

Also to add... in air... anyone hits her with anything all day long, nothing i try matters.
 
Also a sick setup I like off knock down :

ex low rocket HOLD3-j1-b2-bf4

Overhead low overhead DOOMSDAY setup lol. Hard part is to get the opponent to sit still

So freaking hard to block and if you do it right the bf4 will hit confirm for over 30%

You can't play a neutral game with cassie when she has a normal that has reach as good as jacquis low shot
 
@Jon Irenicus ive been messing with d4 it puts them away from you for a good spacing for her and is only 10frames.

On hit:

If they jump in do up rocket-dash-f1-bf4

I'f they stand do low rocket-machine gun

On block:

it puts them just outside d3d1 range and you can punish their wiff with b2 or b14

[edit] I think I've got a better one for the low-starter. So it's b22xxxMBdb2-run-NJP-run-33xxxbf1. The timing is actually exceptionally loose (and this is coming from someone who can't usually do NJPs whatsoever...). It deals 38% and the bf1 ender leaves you with enough space and advantage to force them to eat a machine gun followup.
Actually for b33, you can just do b33 ex db2 dash 22 bf4 and get 40%

It makes me sad to said this but Jacqui's Shotgun and High-tech variations are low tier. If you want to win with Jacqui you have to play Full auto.
That's your opinion, and you have a right to it. It's mine however that SG has advantages over FA and that you probably haven't played it to it's full potential.

Well said my friend I agree to the most... Yeah idk maybe I should explore it but i just IMO prefer th FA for her neutral in that...
