New York 2015 MKX Thread

I searched all my spots for the game to no avail. On the bright side of that about Thurs/Fri the latest I should have it so I'll spread word if I'm the first. I'm going to take 2 hour lunch breaks this week starting Monday checking with them to see if I can beat that timeline in case they get it a day earlier than that.

The thirst is real.

I think Rochester, Buffalo, and Syracuse all have have small capcom scenes at least that's what I can tell from the shroyuken forums. I remember Jeremiah had great post about starting a scene. I like what the Vegas guys are doing with their scene. It is great to see all of tym excited about MKX. I just want the New York guys to know their are players/ stream monsters like myself who enjoy all that comes with the fgc and the nrs community. I hope more people post in this thread from upstate and downstate and we continue to get more players in the scene.

Syracuse checking in. I'd be more than willing to help set up an upstate scene if we had a few people. I plan on focusing on this game.

Queens checking in. A Manhattan location would be great as NL is a bit of a hike and its a whole lot harder going to the Break than it used to be for me. Fraud City on Baxter is way reasonable though. Any idea what system TO's are leaning towards? Going to have to buy a new stick.

For other locals I'm not sure, but I know Fraud City in manhattan said they're running MKX on PS4. I have a PS3 fightstick so I'll be using that.

Anyone in the Ulster/Sullivan/Orange county area? I expect MKX netcode to absolutely abysmal and I'd rather play offline. But I'm 2.5 hours from NYC :(

Message me if you're in my area and interested in setting something up.

Sp00ky confirmed that MKX will be at next level battle circuit starting next Wednesday! Come through people!
