I'll also be setting up my basement for bi-weeklies as well. I should be able to accommodate 5-6 setups and a stream.

I originally got a TE2 for KI cause I thought it was going to be played at the break. I didnt like the TE2 so I bought a Hori Xbox one stick but my favorite kind of buttons and stick didnt fit as well as I would of have hoped so I went back and remodded the TE2. I am currently though making a convertor that would allow me to use my ps3/xbox 360 sticks and pad on xbox one and ps4.

Good sir what is your current progress with said converter ? This will change the landscape of the land as we know it.

Its made. I am trying to figure out what previous gen pcbs are compatiable and trying to figure out a good way to determine lag.

I hear there's gonna be a weekly or bi-weekly in the city with MKX, I think Chinatown or by Canal st. or something like that. They already started with MVC and USF4 players gaming there. The street it's on escapes me right now but I'll be in there for sure. It being in Manhattan is ideal for me.

Up in the air??? Wow. That was unexpected. I don't have a Twitter but I'll have some write for me.

I'll post the info for the place in the city tomorrow. Too tired to go get my laptop, that's where I saved it. I know it said they were running MKX on PS4. It could be a good replacement for nyc players if Next Level drops MK or just a good alternative in general since it's close range for everyone in the Burroughs.

HenryCen said 8 or more. 8 Meaning the bare minimum, If your looking to go to next level to play MKX I would advise you (Like @DarthArma suggested) to go let him know on twitter if you plan on going. If you can go consistently, let that be known since that is important information for obvious reasons.

This is good news.Manhattan is like the neutral ground for everyone in NYC. I wouldnt mind going to Next Level as well. But It is all the way across the damn city for me lol.

So here's the update for the return of VSM:

Every other Friday, starting on April 18, 2015 I will be hosting casuals at my house in my basement. I have enough room for about 5 setups, possibly 6 which includes the stream.

My basement should comfortably hold 12 people, but no more than 16 at a time at most, any more and people will need to hang out outside.

Every other week I will post and get confirmations from players so we know who will show up and how many we have.

Casuals will be available to start at 7pm and will run through 1am. We will hold at least one tournament per month as well.

There will be at least 1 ps4 and 1 XB1 setup, possibly 2 PS4's. Stream will be an Asus monitor and the other monitors will be the old VSM monitors. I will add more asus monitors over time as I can. Players are encouraged to bring setups of PS4's and Asus Monitors if they can.

I would assume since tournaments usually last late and people usually work on Monday morning, Saturday is the Ideal day.

Yea I agree. Not everyone can troop across to Brooklyn, the way far out in BK area too. Manhattan is a middle ground for all players. Here's the info I found about a location.

It's called Fraud City streamed by Bifuteki. It's a new bi-weekly tourney on Thursday's at 7pm that had it's first event last Thursday. You can play casuals as well as enter the tourney. They'll be carrying MKX. $150 pot bonus for each game held there, $10 venue fee, $5 per game. The address is 118 Baxter St. New York, NY 10013, which is a pretty good location. I think I'll definitely be hitting this up.

I'm down for casuals and possibly tourneys once I'm confident in my skills.

Side note: Should I preorder or get MKX at one of the mom & pop places early? (does anyone know a place that will)
