Mind if I ask where in West Babylon? I asked about stuff going on on LI earlier in the thread as well The Arena stuff in the other thread and never got any responses.

West Babylon is only a few miles away from the boarder of Nassau and Suffolk county. It opens up at 5, I'm usually there between 5 and 6 and people steadily roll in all night. It ends at 12AM. There's also a $5 venue fee.

Thursday nights is when mostly everyone comes but Tuesdays will have players showing up as well. I'm really pushing for 2 nights a week to get as much practice as possible.

If I can convince my girl to pick me up on the Thurs nights so we can drive back I'll be down. I can't take that train ride that late though lol. I'm gonna talk her into it. I would be able to come something like every other Thursday.

Nice sounds good!! I'll be out in Jersey for a few days this week (girl wants to show off the new car to friends lol) but I'll be there next Thursday. I'll bump the thread for any tidbits next week. I'll probably be dragging Khaotic Dante there with me too.

Hey wassup man. So turns out we are leaving Friday morning instead, so I can make it tomorrow. I can take the railroad after work and then have my girl pick me up later in the night. Am I able to get there by train?

Also checking in the mapquest, is it the address next to America windmill and Chelsea avenues?

I know it's across the street from c&j meats not sure about the windmill place though.

If you take the train to either Lindenhurst or babylon I can scoop you up over there. Its not rwally waliking dI stance ftI'm the train. Babylon is the best if you take the express train. What time will you be getting on the train?

Hey Guys,

I've noticed the following currently active locals for the NYC area:
(sorted by day of the week)

8 ON THE BREAK = Weekly every Tuesday (Dunellen, NJ)
NEXT LEVEL BATTLE CIRCUIT = Weekly every Wednesday (Brooklyn, NY) MKX Scene seems dead. USFIV Scene is alive and well...
FRAUD CITY WEEKLY AT NEBULOUS = Weekly every Thursday (New York, NY)
WESTCHESTER FGC = Bi-Weekly Thursdays (Scarsdale, NY)
GANDYMAN AT GAMESTOP = Weekly every Saturday (Astoria, NY)

Looking forward to attending these moving forward (can't this week for the Thursday events though :()...

Any other active locals in NYC/JerZ that I should know about?

There's also @GandyMan events in Queens every Saturday night.

From what I'm being told, NextLevel's Battle Circuit MKX scene is non existent anymore.. Can anyone confirm or deny this?

Yea I haven't went in a while but that seems to be the case for MK at Next Level. From what I know there are good turnouts at Fraud City on Thursdays and Gandy's events in Queens on Saturdays. Not too familiar with The Break's current state or the Westchester one. I plan to visit the Westchester one soon though to check it out.

Yew I figured they were. Since the Westchester is a bi-weekly on Thursdays I'm gonna start trying to go on some of the off weeks of Fraud City. I'll let you know how it is. If it's on point then we'll still have 4 good locals which is pretty good.

There used to be but as of a couple of weeks ago we had to shut it down. There's likely one this Friday though, I'll have to double check that it's going down again.
