I don't believe this list for one simple reason:

Not enough villains.
We will play good guys again for sure, and this list really lacks of potential opponents.
Plus there is no Rain on it, and Mileena needs allies.

This is just a good guess.
Bow guy was easy to know ( we knew it was a male, and takeda does not use a bow in the comics...)
Jax was spotted in the Tower.
Sonya is leaked in the faction screen and on a costume site.
Cage was accidently slipped in an interview, and Boon also said a long time ago that Cassie's parents were likely playable.
Shinnok was obvious since MK9 ending

I could have made this list if I wanted to.

Only Kenshi remains unconfirmed, but we saw a capture tweet that pretty much confirms him.

This leak is fake BUT, those characters are still likely to make it in the roster.
Except that there are certainely more, maybe only one more character, who knows ?

I'm planning to main Kotal/Dvorah and Rain if he is in. I don't place myself as being EVERYONE, you see ? That's why 10 special force members is objectively A LOT for such a cast (if there'll be only 25 char). Think about it.

Why aren't people excited about the prospect of seeing an older and wiser Cage with more control over his powers than before? I think people are just thinking these characters are going to be carbon copies of MK9.

Strangely enough, even if it doesn't seem to catter to the majority of fans, this roster leaked has great chances. Maybe they plan to release the popular ones as DLC, maybe 2 season packs with 3 klassic kombatants and a guest in each one?

That makes sens, let me explain you : Sonya (Cassie guns variation), JC (rushdown variation), Cassie (the last one). Better ? Same or not who cares ? You truly think we gotta get the entire family in the cast lol.

I'm not speaking for anyone. It's just common sense. How would you like it if two characters (any character, not just JC and Sonya) that should be fully playable were reduced to only being playable in story mode? I mean it's one thing when there's an NPC Boss character, that's an MK standard and is to be expected. But, making a character playable only in the story has never been done before and it would make no sense for them to do it now. Also, there's major problem in all of this speculation, a lot of people are assuming the roster is a certain size when there has been no official number given.

Many character were in the tower stuffs and not in the cast in preview games (Tremor for example). Could be either way for the MKX story mode. This is not because you didn't have interaction in mk9 that you won't have it in MKX.

The whole 'kids of the fighters' thing is kind of lame in the first place. But do we need the whole family, too? Would much rather have new, original characters. Just...ugh. I don't follow the comics, but I couldn't care less. The group outside of Cassie is just lame.
