It could be a mixture of both.

King may not be as good with Batman as he once was since he's focusing so much on MMH and possibly other characters. At the same time, people have probably learned how to deal with Batman a lot better as well.

It could always be a number of things, y'know?

Batmans disadvantage matchups show up a lot in tournaments now. That coupled with the fact that most top players have leveled up a lot against batman makes it very hard to see him winning a major.Also I think last year was the year of pocket aaaaaaquman.

He messes doomsday up in knockdown, when I knock him Down its a guess massively in his favor. He wins full screen and mid screen. He deals with trait very well. If I don't have a bar I can't approach him.

You can approach almost everyone without meter if you activate trait. There's just a few characters that can stop you dead in your tracks even with trait.
