you saw the cheesesy shit from back then, the amount of stuff you would need to read if you ever wanted to catch up, the price tag for all of that, and then likely just said "fuck it, ill watch the movies"

only reason im reading this is because it crosses over into game territory. comic book reading is still an expensive habbit its just a lot easier to spend that $100 on them now with digital comics
