I wonder what nerfs joker would have gotten if chris G mained him, teeth -20 on block? teeth mid?
chrisG does some amazing stuff with arrow
the way he adapted to the to zatanna MU was god like

@Gilbagz joker is unbeatable. he has like 4 earthshaker setups in the corner that combo into 40%, you have to guess between teeth, b1, overhead can, insta jump 2. you have to block them all differently and if you are prepared for one he can hit you with another, like you have teeth at your feet but he can INJ 2, so if im expecting the b1 low which will hit before the teeth, but he does the jump 2 instead, i land on the teeth and get combod into another setup. jokers normal reach is second to none, only really aquaman normals can compete, some of lex and green arrows are lengthy too but they dont have the full package d2 j2 j3 d3, its like fighting dhalsim. ok its nothing like dhalsim but joker is not bottom 10, no way.

Chris G was the tester for Joker and a big reason he has so many problems.

No, I'm saying his recommendations after testing him for improving him (because he was bad in alpha as well) were poor, and that combined with none of the NRS crew really taking a liking to the character led to him not getting the attention that he deserves, which has caused him to be one of if not the buggiest characters in the game on top of having some balance issues stemming from some very daunting design flaws. I'm not downplaying, I think he's better off than people think as well and just needs better high level representation, but things like this disappoint me and make me hope no one in MKX suffers similar bias because I guarantee you I will coincidentally choose to main that character lol.

Every tester I've spoken to thought he was bad in testing. Pig was the only one I recall seeing anything from about wanting to play him or thinking he was good, and that changed in the first week of the game when he realized none of his zoning functioned like he thought it would.

That's disappointing. You'd think one of the most popular and iconic comic book characters of all time would get the proper love he deserves. Instead, stupid characters no one cares about like Killer Frost end up being more polished and thought out.

Joker got six costumes and a pivotal role in the story. He's also front and center on the box cover. There's the love he deserves.

This game is pretty balanced, so when someone says "whoever" is better than "whoever" or "this character" is/isn't bottom 5, we're really just talking about a couple of bad or good matchups--that's all. It's mostly irrelevant.

@StevoSuprem0 , hey man, I want joker to be good too. I want everybody to be good. But Joker being "iconic" has dick to do with balance. You think Black Adam launched with a killer backdash and unstoppable wakeups cause of his popularity?
