I've never seen anyone as good as PL get dumped on for his skills. Every time he loses people act like he's a fraud and then act like it's no big deal when he places high again. Yes, you, Claude, the East Coast and everyone else have to hold the fact that PL is very good at fighting games. It's hilarious seeing guys whom he'd mop the floor with question how good he is.

I'm not dickriding. PL might just be the most irritating person in the community. Unfortunately for you, me, and everyone else, he also happens to be one of the best players. That is not subjective, and everyone has to acknowledge it. So yeah, sorry, you kinda do have to hold that.

Yessss richard sherman learned how to popoff from the master...BIT. one of my all time favorite emotional popoffs. Shit gave me chills cuz i could tell how much that win meant to him after the vsm vs america 5V5 disaster.

Lol that had to be one of the biggest upset/chokes ever. Though, regardless of cat choking, jeremiah rising to the occasion with the worst character vs the best character was amazing. He will always get props for that win, which was probably jeremiahs biggest win ever imo.

This was Chris G at his best. Probably the peak of Reptile in MK9

Just extremely patient and solid, which is the opposite of what he was known for. I'm guessing he'd started taking SF4 seriously around this time and it affected his metagame

A lot of those matches were hype..

sadly, there is no youtube footage of any of those matches and I have no clue where to find them. Besides me vs King, there was a close match vs MK Legend and the closest tourney match you will ever see SZ vs Kitana when I played 16 bit.

At the time of Powerup 2012, Spooky was streaming with Own3d instead of Twitch.
Sadly, Own3d doesn't exist anymore. Unless someone saved the archive, those matches are lost.

My hypest match i would put in top 5 is me vs riu48 at nec. Came down to the last hit in sonya mirrors, im left at 1%, hes at 20%. Dovekicks into corner, i punish with d1 cartwheel and take the game with at least 15 standing 1s into 112 ms f1.
Then it would be tom vs tony t. That rrrunback.
Then reo vs cdjr ever. Too godlike.
