if i had one wish about FGC streams, then PLEASE DO NOT PROFESSIONALIZE COMMENTARY. its good as is and people commentating as they feel and not talking streamlined stuff (like tv Sport commentators) is a core element of amazing stream experiences.

on a side note, @CrimsonShadow i did not notice any downtalking on anybody on the kit stream, what do you mean?

everytime i see @CrimsonShadow make a post i know its gonna be full of failed attempts to do something good for the FGC. im always disappoint.

Once again I think the guys did a solid job with commentating. They will learn from the experience and from some of the comments. Saucy Jack commentates at GBS which is somewhat of a family atmosphere, so there is a level of chiding that goes on that is totally acceptable because of those personal relationships. And I don't mean to speak for him at all, I don't know if he would want to do commentating at future events, but I hope he does.

16 bit I feel always does a great job, that guy is a savant when it comes a player's tournament history, matchups, and general overall knowledge of DC/MK history.

However I don't think any of the guys that commentated come there for that. Like when Ultra David comes to a event, he is there to commentate.

GGA performance as KIT commentators was hype and great, maybe a little biased but without being obnoxious. I don't understand why the hate is going on, let it go man.

When I spoke to Xeno on Sunday that is not the response I got. If he has changed his mind I will happily talk to him again and apologize if he feels it is necessary. Everything seemed alright with him then, but I understand opinions can change.

I know its difficult to see it from all sides especially in the moment as you commentate. Its just something to try to keep in the back of your mind. Im glad that you went and hashed it out with Xeno which makes it fine in my eyes.

Top 8 commentary was awesome. It was flowing nicely and it wasn't "too serious". I'd like to see the two of them again commentating.

Not going to lie. I had this on in the background while a bunch of friends were over just drinking and playing games and they were turned off by some of the language used and the way they were bashing other players with their sarcastic comments or bias feelings toward them and was asked to turn it on mute.

With all due respect, there's a big difference between a hype callout and bashing a player who is less experienced or nervous on stream.

I'm all for hype callouts -- but that's not at all what this thread is about.

At this point in time, I suck at the game I shouldn't even be allowed to be on stream lol, if I get blown up for playing like an idiot, good I deserved it. Why are people so sensitive these days, SMH.

I don't think it's over sensitivity, people want professionalism. You don't hear sports commentators dropping f bombs or criticising game play or the losing squad.

I would much rather prefer professional commentating. KiT was awesome and the last good pairing before that was Medina and Delriach at EVO 2012.

The OP wasnt really meant to blow people up directly. If this problem never happened before then maybe it would be a personal blow up but people need to stop looking so hard into this. This is the first time someone decided to post about this common FGC issue and it needs to be addressed. Unfortunately people may feel its personal but its really not

I don't know if you have any one commentator in mind, but I really enjoyed the commentary at KIT

I agree that bashing players for a poor performance is unprofessional, but didn't notice any of that at KIT. Not saying it didn't happen, just that I didn't notice.
